Doesn’t have a beach, but there are stairs to ocean on left and right side of sandy beach wall. Red flag was permanently up the week we were there…you can, at your own risk, cross over to beach next door when tide was low and make sure to return before tide came back in.

The staff was exceptionally friendly and professional. Location is great if you want peace and quiet; it’s not near too many other resorts. There are clubs nearby, outdoor which allows you to enjoy the outdoor air and environment. You have to take a taxi to go from the resort to downtown or walk maybe quarter a mile to bus transportation, which was easy to use.

The Sandpiper is a luxury boutique hotel in a great location on the west coast of Barbados. You get what you pay for, it is expensive but worth it. The staff are courteous and well trained, and nothing is too much trouble. It is clear why this is one of the small luxury hotels of the world.
