The added bonus of hearing the gentle sound of a train in the distance just added to the ambience and feel of that time period when this house was first built. "House is great, lots of room, and plenty of indoor and outdoor spaces. Meagan was a great host. It was an unusual summer with much more rain than usual for Kansas, but still had a wonderful time playing pool when swimming wasn't optimal. I don’t think I’ll ever get my fill of Linn Valley Lake; it’s so peaceful and quiet during the week. You basically have the lake to yourself. Also, there are a table and 4 chairs on the dock which doesn't show up in the listing pictures, but is convenient for morning coffee or snacking on the dock. Hope to come back next year!"
