Sa situation dans le village est aussi exceptionnelle: tout prés du port, des balades à pied, des restaurants. On n'a pas besoin de véhicule pour découvrir le joli site ou se situe le gite. "Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour en Normandie chez Peter et Juliette. Le logement est magnifiquement rénové avec beaucoup de goût. La vue sur les champs à l’arrière du bâtiment est superbe: couché de soleil sur un océan de verdure. Pour les visites il faut compter une demi-heure pour aller sur les plages du débarquement, 50 minutes pour Cherbourg et une heure et quart pour le Mont Saint Michel."

"Bon rapport qualité prix Bien pour une ou deux nuits pour découvrir le Cotentin Chambre (4) assez sombre et lumières de chevet trop jaunes et trop fortes , mais nous y étions que pour dormir. Bonne literie. Bouilloire, thé, oreillers supplémentaires, sèche cheveux, tt cela est bien appréciable 😀 Chb calme, donnant sur l’arriere(mieux que sur le parking) Ménage bien fait Parking facile. Pas d avis sur le petit dej car nous ne l avons pas pris Réception agréable et dispo jusqu’à 23h"

"Really nice family-run hotel, situated in a quiet side street near the main area of Cherbourg for shops, bars and restaurants, and about 30 minutes' walk from the ferry terminal. Quiet, clean and comfortable, with a delicious buffet breakfast comprising many home-made treats. A comfortable bed combined with the quiet environment and blackout curtains to ensure a good night's sleep. The bathroom was spacious, clean and well-equipped, adding to the impression of a thoughtfully furnished and decorated room. Many of the staff you will encounter are members of the extended family who run the hotel, and you will find them to be friendly and attentive but discreet. They were also happy to converse with me in French which was good practice for me! I actually liked everything about it and I think you probably will too..."

"easy check in, super clean rooms, smelled like cigarettes in the morning around facility and inside rooms - smoking shouldn’t be allowed in any capacity in any manner at all - very nice receptionist checking in. Around a 25 minute walk to train station. Giant super market five minutes away"

"The staff at reception were very helpful and friendly. I don’t speak a lot of French but she was really understanding. The shower in the room was great and the room was very quiet and clean with a very comfortable bed, so a good nights sleep. I didn’t have breakfast but the dining area looked clean too. I was glad of the gated parking as I had my electric bike on the back of my car and felt it would be secure at night. Would definitely stay again when I next visit France."
