"Hot tub in room nice"

"The “River House” was perfect for our crew. We were in Oregon for a family wedding and the house was a wonderful home base for us. It was clean, comfortable and surprisingly spacious. Views of the river were amazing and the kitchen was well equipped for our needs. When we had a little problem with the coffee maker the property manager immediately jumped in to solve the issue. Would definitely stay here again!"

"Beautiful sunny spot right on the lake and walking distance to all the restaurants and shops. So fun to watch the boats and sit on the deck. "

"The property is beautiful!! The view and backyard alone is worth the stay. We were able to have a great wedding weekend and the house was very accessible/amenable to even have grandparents join us to help babysit a toddler and a baby for the actual wedding evening. Also, we were able to walk to a playground and nature trails just down the street. It was an easy drive to downtown."

"The house was amazing and very convenient to reach any and all of Portland. Attentive hosts and all was a bit better than expected. Will definitely go again. The granddaughter who visited loved the toys, she's 2.5. "

"Property was clean and organized. Plenty of extra linens available for our use. We had a small issue upon our arrival and the property management was quick to respond and actually handled it while we were exploring local waterfalls so we weren't in their way. Two members of our family have dietary restrictions and the kitchen was well equipped for us to prepare our meals and the place is also located close to a Trader Joe's for quick fixes. We actually found a local pizza spot (Milwaukie Pizza Co.) that also accommodated our needs the first night. While we were there we also checked out Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum (about an hour away), as well as the city of Portland, the OMSI and Powell's City of Books. The management company also provided a book of local spots of sorts which was a nice touch. I believe someone was occupying the other unit and we never really heard them. I also used the washer & dryer unit before we left and it worked well. My thirteen year old called the shower a "space capsule" since the glass closes on it's own. I thought that was funny. This location checked all the boxes. Thank you for helping us to explore this section of Oregon. "

"I wish I could write a better review for this place. I was super excited to stay here but it just wasn't worth the price. Upon driving up to the house you immediately see a large blue tarp covering most of the roof. The outside exterior clearly needs some maintenance and is in disarray. The entrance to the place is down some side stairs that also need some repair. The door doesn't lock! Entering the apartment/flat, you are immediately overcome with a smell of must and urine! We opened all of the windows and front door to air it out. It was so unpleasant we didn't want to stay there and were thinking of renting another place last minute! The carpets were still wet from being shampooed before we got there and we had to turn on heaters to try and dry the floor. The smell of urine was so strong in the living room area and near the kitchenette that we couldn't use the space as intended and would grab our food from the kitchenette and stay in the upper portion of the unit.The electricity in the living room/kitchenette area went out 3 times because of using too many appliances all at once. The owner of the VRBO is living upstairs and doing a number of repairs. We heard him sawing and hammering things until 10pm on Friday night. It was not a peaceful stay!Aside from the urine smell and the things listed above, the space wasn't too bad. The sheets and beds were clean, the games were fun, and the bathroom was nice."
