"Sadly did not live up to its reputation. Not all bad but the accumulation of things that didnt work, were broken, went wrong including the food, general service delivery and communication, overshadowed the good. List too long and varied to mention. We did address some issues with management - a few times - but this didnt change their behaviour over our 4 night stay so we eventually gave up. The issues not only impacted our stay, but also caused us significant stress and frustration....

"I really enjoy the Lodge. Perfect for Self catering and they really pay attention to the little details. Home made delicious biscuits every night, setting up the fire and making sure the chalet is warm for your return. They also supply you with firewood and we were gifted an amazing bottle of wine when we left. The staff are friendly and accommodating. We will definitely return"

"Could see that this used to be great (when photos were taken) While it was was mostly clean, there was a lot that didn’t live up to the promise or what we paid for. Lots of stains too. The bed linen is specifically tired and needing replacement - in no ways can it be called premium. There was no Wi-Fi and no bathtub - also both mentioned in the property description for the superior cottage (Crane Cottage). Convenient for the hockey festival at Michaelhouse and beautiful views but can’t say...

"It was a very beautiful setting. The room was very small and the pictures on the booking were a little different. Gettijg into the estate was a bit of a mission. I was suppose to recieve a code prior to atrivijg which was never sent. Once i had my cide, it still did not work. This meant i had to use another gate at the back of the estate which was highly inconvenient "
