"We stayed in a Japanese style room for three nights. The room was larger than expected with a fabulous view of Mount Fuji (weather permitting). Futon beds were very comfortable with additional mattresses available if required. Excellent shower in the bathroom. Breakfast: a huge choice of breakfast food, but very busy at opening time (7.30 am). We had a Japanese meal in the restaurant which was average when compared to some of the restaurants we ate at in in town. Would suggest booking in advance if wanting to eat at the hotel. Our preferred slot of 19.45 was full booked when we arrived. The hotel is located about 3.5Km from Kawaguchi-Ko. The hotel shuttle bus runs between the hotel and the station at Kawaguchi-Ko on an hourly basis. The bus is a minibus seating about 20 people, so if you want to use the shuttle bus early booking is highly recommended as it fills up fast. Positives: Very friendly and helpful staff Amazing views of Mount Fuji Rooms are large and comfortable. Negatives Distance from Kawaguchi-Ko town and lack of transport (buses and taxis) after 8pm can mean it's a long walk home if you choose to eat in the town. rrrestaurants"

"We loved our stay! We’re from out of town, so being able to glamp with the needed tools to cook was such a fun experience. It’s also a good location to do activities at Mt. Fuji and the nearby lakes. Not all staff spoke English, so we had to use a translation app to communicate. Despite this, they were all very professional and helpful. One thing to note, it is in the nature so there are bugs and leaf that got in the room. Bring bug spray!"

"If I could give this place 100 stars, I would!! Everything was as perfect as can be. The staff are unbelievably kind, our little house was clean, spacious, and very luxurious. The staff waved us off with big smiles each time we drove away in the cab and were interested in hearing about our Japan trip. Only a short car ride from the best Mt. Fuji view and the caves. No view of Mt. Fuji but a gorgeous forest view with large windows. Kitchen equipped with everything you could need to cook and relax. Probably would be great for a big group! No restaurants walking distance so definitely be prepared to cook (but there is a konbini close by). If the staff who were especially kind to us see this, we are incredibly grateful for your hospitality and kindness and you made our stay one we will never forget!"
