About this property
Vineyard Hill — Life’s an Adventure. Stay Somewhere Worth the Journey.
A private hilltop retreat surrounded by vineyards, forest, and 360° Sonoma views.
Looking for a beautiful getaway that feels wonderfully off the beaten path but is still just ten minutes from excellent restaurants, shopping, Sonoma’s best bakery, coffee roaster, and some very good pizza?
Welcome to Vineyard Hill in Forestville.
The adventure begins at the end of a half-mile gravel road winding through forest and vineyards. As you climb to the top of Vineyard Hill, the landscape opens up into something truly special: 360-degree views across Sonoma’s Central Valley, stretching from the Coastal Range to the Napa Range, with Mount Tamalpais and Mount Jackson visible in the distance.
And then there are the skies.
Foggy mornings give way to brilliant sunshine. Evenings bring cool mountain air, spectacular sunsets, and stars that seem just a little brighter up here. With five decks surrounding the house, you can find your favorite spot for morning coffee, an afternoon glass of wine, dinner outdoors, or simply watching the changing light roll across the valley.
Your Sonoma hideaway Vineyard Hill is surrounded by vineyards, forest, and neighboring homes where local families live. You may see children playing, wild turkeys wandering through the property, deer passing by, and an abundance of birds overhead. Please drive slowly and carefully on the road and through the neighborhood—we’ll provide detailed directions and arrival information before your stay.
The house comfortably sleeps four adults plus children, with two queen beds and two twin beds. There is also a daybed in the living room. Inside, you’ll find everything you need for a relaxed Sonoma stay, including: Private hot tub for soaking beneath the evening sky Fully equipped kitchen with induction range and multi-use oven Dishwasher and washer/dryer Heating and air conditioning A full coffee station (please bring your favorite coffee beans or tea) Multiple indoor and outdoor spaces for relaxing, dining, and enjoying the views Five decks where you can take in the landscape from morning through sunset Come for Sonoma. Stay for the view. Spend your days exploring Sonoma’s wineries, restaurants, markets, hiking trails, redwoods, and charming towns. Then return to Vineyard Hill, where dinner can stretch into sunset and the only agenda is deciding which deck to sit on.
You get the peace, privacy, wildlife, and breathtaking scenery of a hilltop retreat, with Sonoma’s food, wine, and small-town pleasures just minutes away.
Life’s an adventure. Escape to somewhere extraordinary.
