Each lodge offers either serene water views or a calming bush outlook, complete with full kitchens for easy self-catering. Conveniently located just 15 minutes from Paynesville and 20 minutes from Bairnsdale, it’s an ideal escape for guests seeking quiet, nature, and wildlife—including a friendly local kangaroo mob that often wanders by.

Burrabogie sits in a beautiful bush pocket, offering an inviting getaway for families and groups. This warm and welcoming 4-bedroom, 2-bathroom property combines the charm of a rustic lodge with the comfort of home. The spacious living area provides plenty of room to relax, while the wood fireplace sets the perfect mood for cozy evenings after exploring the lake and surrounds. Nature at its best! The property was clean and had everything in it. We received a welcome board with some beautiful jam, coffee pods and soaps but the kangaroo food was an extra touch. Kids were super excited. The pool and spa kept the kids entertained, loved the use of free bikes to ride, and kayaks etc. just a wonderful couple of days.
