Note that the hotel is very close to the public transit (teleferico) lines, but that it's quite a climb up stairs from the hotel to the teleferico. "As an American I can say that the breakfast felt a bit small and light but it seemed more traditional to the area so no complaints there. Not their fault I have a poor diet. The staff was wonderful and very accommodating even after our stay. The room was clean. The room also had a lil entry room so the door doesn’t open immediately open into your bed which felt more private. The area nearby had amazing restaurants and coffees just within a couple of blocks. "We had an exceptional stay at Dream by Stannum thanks to the loveliest staff (Henry, Pablo, Deysi & Andrea) who went above and beyond to cater to our many needs. From giving us extra towels and water bottles and free Coca leaves and Oxygen tanks when we got severly sick, to booking a Cholita Wrestling show or a restaurant or a cab, they were the kindest, most beautiful people to welcome us and make us feel comfortable in our La Paz stay. They also assisted with a doctors visit late at night, again, with patience and attentiveness that was very much appreciated. Everything else was great too, the location, cleanliness of the room and provisions. The only slight improvement would be to have a mini refrigerator and a kettle in the room - otherwise, a fantastic experience and stay."

"This hotel has been great value for money. Centrally located, safe to walk to and from. Close to El Prado, La Paz´s main venue. Breakfast is good, staff are very helpful, beds are comfortable and the shower in the morning is hot (pressure can be an issue). Persons with respiratory/mobility challenges may find Aspiazu and Guachaya (the two streets that lead to the Hotel) difficult as they are quite a steep uphill walk."

"The bathroom waste can had trash in it. The room had to plug in kerosene heater. Listing says ceiling fan in every room but ours did not. Bed was very hard. Breakfast was OK, its free, but food in area cheap especially with exchange rate to US dollars. Older building in nice condition, just not sound proof. Overall for money not bad just letting you know what to expect."
