"The lodge is beautiful in very peaceful area, it was very clean with everything we needed. We used it mainly for a base as we were traveling so only really slept there. The lodge is situated between 2 other properties and would benefit ( I’m my opinion) with blinds on all lower windows. The bed is very comfortable but a bit on the narrow side. The shower is fantastic very big and spacious. The Wi-Fi is on the slow side but apart from that we thoroughly enjoyed our time there especially when we...

Top Forres Hotel Reviews

Holiday Inn Express Inverness by IHG

10/10 Excellent

"Our room and bathroom were spotless. Huge comfortable bed. Breakfast fast was good, plenty choice . Would stay again. Parking was easy too."

Kincraig Castle Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"The castle itself is so beautiful and cozy, but the staff absolutely make the experience. My partner and I celebrated our anniversary there, and the staff went above and beyond to make our time there special. Vijay was so friendly and accommodating, and really made us feel welcome and valued. We enjoyed a lovely dinner there, and our servers Anne and Denise, as well as Vijay, were so sweet and again just made us feel so special. Rajesh was also so awesome, and contributed greatly to our amazing experience. We also wanted to give Joyce a shoutout, as she was so kind and helpful with allowing us to extend our stay an extra night as there was a terrible storm we couldn’t drive through. All of the staff went above and beyond for us and truly made our stay so special. Additionally, the room was lovely and clean, the bed was very comfortable and the robes provided were so cozy. Just overall such a great experience, we couldn’t recommend it enough!"

Golf View Hotel & Spa

10/10 Excellent

"Lovely last minute stay. Sea views are truly spectacular. We are very glad we opted for that room option, with the bonus of a gorgeous freestanding bath and excellent in room amenities, well stocked mini bar and lovely toiletries. The pool and hot tub are spotless with plenty of seating. breakfast was also delicious. Firmly on the must return list!"

Ramnee Hotel

8/10 Good

"The new owners have a lot of work to do and have plans going forward. Rome wasn’t built in a day but they are doing their best. My room was comfortable and I had a couple of issues which were rectified as soon as they were made known to the staff. The food was good and the staff were all friendly and welcoming. Would certainly go back"

The Old Mill Inn

10/10 Excellent

"For an unknown reason receiving the entry details was difficult but eventually successful. The room was clean and the facilities were very good. The decor won’t please everyone but the invisible staff refreshed towels and drinks efficiently. Aware that no food service was available the presence of the fridge was helpful to store our own items. Didn’t try the recommended place for breakfast. It was a fair price to reach Findhorn and Forres for the festival. When the noise issue was mysteriously fixed it was a comfortable stay."
