"Not quite sure why we had to pay for parking, most other hotels on our journey across the east coast did not require that. Not very clean. TV didn't work, when my daughter called to try to figure out how to fix it she was told it was broken and we'd have to change rooms. Why were we placed in a room with a broken tv? Best I can say, it was servicable."

"We had a very nice stay as a family of 4. Appreciated the larger-than-average size room with pull-out couch and kitchenette. It was very clean and well-maintained and staff were friendly and accommodating. Location was convenient to restaurants and other areas. Breakfast was fine for a hotel breakfast buffet- nothing spectacular, but we were appreciative of it being there. Found it to be quiet despite being right near highway. Would stay there again!"

"This was a charming home and fabulous location, convenient to New Haven and surrounding areas. The host was delightfully nice and wonderful to deal with! The home itself was a great layout for a couple of families, and kids. The view was soothing to the soul, and sitting and having a cup of coffee in the morning was all we needed to unwind and relax! The house is fully equipped for whatever you need. Linens and towels were well organized, and the beds incredibly comfortable! We will be back next year! Thank you for the amazing night in East Haven!! "

"This lovely, large, old school, quirky home met our needs perfectly and was so close to near Tweed New Haven Airport, so convenient. The communication was outstanding with the host.We did not get a chance to use the large backyard because it snowed, but it was very nice. The office area was great for my husband and the separated family room and living room room areas also worked very well giving everybody space. "

"The pre-arrival email stated that the lock code to enter the unit would arrive “24 hours before check-in..” it did not. When enquiring the morning of the trip we were informed that the code would be sent “by noon.” This created anxiety in that we had to set out for the location without certainty that we had access to the site when we arrived.Upon arrival, access to the unit required climbing up stairs and then downstairs into the unit which we found difficult as an elderly couple. The description of the property was not sufficient to convey this obstacle.My wife found the mattress uncomfortable, sagging in the middle.Our trip included visiting with my son who has dogs and cats. There was cat hair transferred from our clothes to the furniture. We were subsequently charged a “no-pets” violation penalty of 150 on an assumption that we had brought pets into the unit - which we did not - and for what was essentially vacuuming and cleaning, which we assume already occurs between guests as a standard procedure. I paid the penalty fee under protest but I feel taken advantage of here."

"Beautiful space with lovely holiday decor. Absolutely perfect location- very quiet, peaceful, and short walk to the beach. The hosts were very responsive. 100% recommend!!"

"Home was exactly as expected and had plenty of space for our large group in town for a wedding. I extra appreciated the baby-friendly rooms and toys, it made traveling with an infant and young toddler so much less stressful than normal. "
