"Our stay here was perfect— 5 mins from the ferry to Mackinac, very clean and modern interior, and check in/out was quick and easy! This is a perfect place to stay, we didn’t mind it being on the smaller side as we spent most of our trip out and about. For the price you cannot beat this especially compared to other surrounding options! "

"The staff was extremely friendly & courteous. Our room was upgraded and was nice. Only negative was people were smoking right outside the doors. This is not something the hotel staff could really do anything about though. "
"This is an interesting, old home as one would expect on the island. It is well-maintained, clean, and feels safe. The breakfast is continental with a hot egg casserole dish, fresh baked muffins, and plenty of other options. The coffee is available 24/7 and cookies are offered at "teatime" every afternoon.
The rooms are variable with some being very small (community bathroom/shower) and some rooms are larger with a sofa and private bath.
The home is relatively close to the downtown area, is midway up a hill, and has many steps to access and to go upstairs (no elevator if that matters). Pretty charming place.
The host is very pleasant, always available and also very accommodating. When we needed are larger space to allow our whole family to get ready for a wedding (after 2 rooms out of 3 needed to check out, staying only one night), they were able to upgrade us to a king room with a private bath for no extra charge - what a blessing! You saved the day for us -Thank you!"
