Perfect Getaway!

We had an awesome week at this property!! We are hoping to book for next year! The location is great, with everything we needed close by! The neighborhood is super clean and really quiet. The house was also very clean and set up perfectly for us!

A Great Stay

Our family of 5 had a great stay at this rental home. The kids loved the larger pool and that it had a deeper end. The pool was in full sun all day with large shaded area on pool deck also. There are 2 beach chairs, beach umbrella, cooler, pool toys etc. Kitchen had everything we needed and a nice basket of goodies to welcome us. Overall, the property is clean and well taken care of. Property manager William met us on site upon our arrival and departure, was really great to deal with and available by phone if we needed anything. Grocery stores were 2 minutes away with close shopping also. It was our first time in Cape Coral / Fort Myers area and we really enjoyed that the driving was easier / more relaxed than other Florida locations we've been before. We will likely return to this area in future and would highly recommend renting this property.

Nice and relaxing

It was somewhat difficult to find at first but when we did, it was a very nice, quiet, clean home and had a great location! It's on a street with very little traffic so you can take walks without worrying about cars. It had everything (as in utensils) we needed to cook. The bedding and towels for bathing and the pool were all brand new. The owners were great with providing a lot of little extras! When we got there they had provided us with a wonderful welcome package so we didn't have to go to the grocery right away. Their manager was there to meet and greet us and to give us instructions on the pool, lighting, etc. and to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. Later, within our visit we called the manager about the pool temperature and he was more than happy to accommodate us. The gas grill was like new and the Lani was great for eating outside by the pool. They gave us a door opener for access to the garage which is very nice to get your car inside, however, you may not be able to get a larger vehicle, like an SUV, in it. It was just a wonderful relaxing time. The location is great to travel back and forth to Ft. Myers, restaurants and shopping. Our deposit was returned within 2 days of leaving the home. We would definitely rent from Home Away again.

Not updated with hurricane damage

We didnt get to stay. We drove by early in morning to see where it was. There were workers there so we stopped and sked why. The roof was torn off from hurricane....understandable but could of been updated and kept in contact of what was happening. The screening of the pool fence was torn out. They wete there working on it as we drove up. Said would t be done for a couple of days. The grass hadn't been mowed for several weeks. The palm tree in fro t top was blown off and not picked up. Once we got in house it was beautiful but there was a busted pipe so we couldnt even stay.

Highly Recommend - Great Budget Super Clean Rental!

We only stayed 1 night in this property waiting to get into the property we had already rented for a week but really had a great experience for that one night. First, the house is spotless! It is well provisioned and they even provided travel bottles of soap and lotion. The pool was warm and clean. You absolutely could not beat the price! I would absolutely rent this property again. It was literally 1/4 of the cost of the property I rented for the rest of the week and suited all of our needs perfectly. Communication with the property manager was excellent. Very friendly and responsive. Don't hesitate to book this one. Oh and while you're in the area you absolutely MUST eat at Heart & Soul Cafe on Del Prado! It was some of the best food I have ever eaten!

Perfect Family getaway

The house was perfect for our family vacation. We were able to stay at the house and enjoy the pool or go do site seeing. Will definitely stay there again when we come back down

Spring Break

We came down for a family vacation. We were more than pleased there was everything that we needed. The house was clean and the bed linen was fresh. The house was the perfect temperature for the hot weather, Plus all rooms had a ceiling fan. Even though it is in a built up city area with many restaurants to choose from and Walmart nine minutes away for whatever you need the neighborhood was so quite and peacful. We can not wait to book our next family trip.

Feels like home!

This is our 3rd time at this property. Always clean and convenient to shopping, sightseeing and the sea. We especially like the children’s play room and pool. Oh and dad like the new huge grill too!

Nice clean home

Since it was only my wife and I, and we did not use the pool, cook or use the grill. I felt that the (cash only) cleaning fee was a very excessive for a two night stay. “Yes it has to be cash”. While the house on the inside is clean. The front yard needs to be better maintained…(trees, bushes and yard) should look more presentable. The pool area is clean and looks good. Again just some of the bushes and trees need to be cleaned up. This is just my opinion. It’s the little things that matter.

Additional fees not included in listing !

I was quoted a price for this booking ,after paying what I was quoted I get a text from someone saying I need to pay a cleaning fee in cash to someone at the property upon check out . I feel the ad was misleading normally when I book any listing the fees are included… not only that but the property also left notes saying to clean up (no dishes in Sink, take trash out and strip all linen from beds and place them in the wash) these are all services that a cleaning fee would include . Yet , this owner wants you to pay for a service that you your self and family have to provide ,basically paying them from me to do the job of a house person. I don’t mind cleaning up after myself. But I’m not gonna pay someone cash just for me to do all the work . Why not include this in your listing so people aren’t caught off guard with additional cost , knowing I booked a week prior to coming so of course if I cancel based on the misleading quote I would still have to pay because of the 30 day cancel policy.

Great private getaway

The house is very big and spacious lots of rooms very clean. Nice heated pool. Overall a great stay just remember basic supplies like paper towels, dish soap, laundry detergent ect.. they did have toilet paper and hand soap though.

Nice house really enjoyed the pool

The owner Ellen was very nice to deal with. We arrived 2 hours early and was let right it which was very nice. We was at the house 4th of july weekend and set off fireworks that are legal in cape coral nothing big . The next day was ask to leave due to being loud and yelling at the house next door and setting firework off at his house . Which never happen. Thank god the property manager asked to speak with the house next door and things were worked out and that we did nothing wrong . Overall the stay was good.

Just what was needed

After all that has happened in the past year and being listed as essential, the husband and I needed a little vacation. This place was perfect for that. The neighborhood was quite, the house had everything needed and if we didn't want to go anywhere for the day we relaxed by the pool.

Limpieza

La propiedad bien buena y limpia lo q te piden $150.00de limpieza y al final uno es quien tiene q dejar todo limpio y el bbq hasta el gas tuvimos que echarle y ni lo limpie y la administración me quería cobrar 100 dólares cuando yo lo recibí lleno de grasa es decir que ese dinero de limpieza es para la administración no para limpiar

Hot, hot, hotter than H*##

Beautiful house but looks can be deceiving....Two the rooms had horrible beds, the futon chair/beds are hard and a foot from the floor. The light switches were in old spots. To top off the night....the Air Conditioner was set at 78 degrees! The rental book says that it is set between 77- 85. In the morning manager asked if we emailed owners because it is a Nest Thermostat and they control it from another country. All Eight of us were hot and sweaty all night. Very little sleep
