"So, number one this hotel is in the best location with the best views. It is clean and that’s all you should really expect from this place. The bathrooms leave much to be desired. Very small. Low water pressure and our tub/shower didn’t drain. Don’t book this place with great expectations. Book it for the location and the view."

"Property is beautiful, fairly new and very well appointed. The unit was very nice, was hoping to be able to check in before 4, as we had all of our luggage with us and didn't want to go into town with it still in vehicle but Host stated unit was ready until a little after 3, this Host doesn't send out door code until unit is available. (Previous unit in Bar Harbor, we were sent info. 3 days in advance) There was hair products and bath soap provided, In the kitchen, there were some misc. kitchen items, perhaps left by previous renters. There was also a few pods of coffee. Additionally, there was also a very nice fire pit with chairs that we didn't use but would have definitely enjoyed, had we had more. Was very impressed that there was starter wood and a pile wood for fire pit. Not being negative but there are two things we did notice worth of mentioning, the ice maker is very, very slow so I would recommend picking up some to have on hand (there was only 4 of us, so not like we were using copious amounts). The other is, the unit could use a few more sets of towels. We would definitely rent again."

"The cottage was great but the check-in was very stressful. Owner did not send email with info until Saturday morning and it went to my Spam folder. No one was on site when I first got there but someone working in the garden got hold of the owner and let me in. Website says check-in was after 3PM but owner said it was 5PM. Needs to update that on website. After a10-hour drive I was not happy."
