They are Remodeling so the new rooms are much nicer and A/C and heater work well. Great for the price. Neighborhood is a little run down.

Staff was respectful, knowledgeable. My only hang up was breakfast was not what I thought it would be. The coffee was at least good. And there was places to eat out at. I wish there was a pool and a hot tub but due to the pandemic they became permanently closed. Now it's a pile of trash outside and dirt covering the once pool and hot tub. My window was overlooking, so had my blacked out curtains drawn the whole time, wasnt a pretty view. I came to Texas to explore not to stay inside the hotel all day, so for a place to rest my head, it was a good spot. Great ac, kept the room cool. The smell of smoke or whatever smell was in the room when I entered, don't know what it was, but after the first day, I either adapted or tolerated. Again, came to explore Texas not to stay in the room, so it is what it is. Affordable and gave me the chance to Uber around, done out, and even buy a few gifts with the remaining budget I had. 😊

The pool was closed permanently but stated pool when booked, also ice machine not working, had a woman in the hall at 1230am screaming and pounding on a door when i called downstairs she said "I know I know" The room was nice and clean though

Many homeless people around outside. Building seemed run down. Room was just ok. A door was missing on the cabinet. Breakfast was terrible. Only offered cereal, bananas and a muffin. Lots of places close by for things to do or go eat.

During Check-in the gentleman at the desk questioned me TWICE about being alone, pets, friend coming to join me After we got past the third degree questions, my room was very clean, with the required supplies, it was quiet and I felt safe while recovering from dental surgery. I would have accpreciated a box of Kleenex. The owners went out of their way to furnish me a banana that I could mash for breakfast.
