We stayed here because we had two dogs with us and were in the process of moving out of state and needed a place to stay while moving out of our home and wrapping up last minute details in the area. Our stay was for 10 nights, but we ended up leaving a night early due to issues. To start with, there was noise all hours of the night, random cars pulling into the back parking area by the pool, backing in so they can watch rooms, and then people either meeting them briefly in the parking lot or they make their way up to one of the rooms after what I am assuming, some signal is given! VERY SUSPICIOUS... not sure what goes on at this place at night, but pretty sure the random characters that pull into the back parking lot and sit are not just looking for a room to stay! Secondly, we were told there was maid service twice weekly - never got maid service once..AND it was not because of a "do not disturb" sign because those were not wven available to hang! Lol Everytime I would go ask the front desk for new towels, the young lady working was somewhat rude - insisting that I should be supplied these towels by the nonexistent maid service. The fourth night we were there, we came out in the morning to walk the dogs and there were cigarette butts on my car hood that had evidently been flicked from the 2nd story. RIDICULOUS! We actually left one night early because we found a broken rifle with a silencer behind the dumpster on the morning stroll with the dogs. Avoid this place - UNSAFE!

This place is Horrible! Traveled for one night worst night ever! My first initial room had blood on the bedspread clearly the bed sheets wasn't changed. Also, it wreaked of cigarette smoke. I switched rooms asked for new sheets they were old with stains and cigarette burns on them, even the mattress protector was stained. Toilet sit had burned marks on it. loose hair on everything. The tub had three rings around it. I had purchased cleaning supplies to clean the room. It was very nasty! Only one lock on the door which didn't latch well. I will not be returning.If you can please spend the extra money to stay comfortably.

Mediocre at best
I guess it was clean it just didn’t feel clean. Shades didn’t do anything, was so light in the room all night. Bed was mediocre and the walls are paper thin. Wish I spent the extra $10-$20 for a different place to stay

The property had bed bugs in the rooms and was completely filthy. The floors, walls, bedding, and bathroom looked like they are not cleaned. We got bitten up in the night and found bed bugs in the beds the next morning. We went to the front desk to talk to a manager and was blown off and told the manager is in India and can't be reached. There were 2 other guest in there complaining about how dirty their rooms were at the same time we were. I will be disputing the Expedia charges with our credit card company. DEFINITELY AVOID THIS DIRTY MOTEL. I can't believe Expedia would allow places like this to be on their site. Worst stay ever.

The first thing I noticed is the warm welcome I receive from the young lady in the office, that was the most powerful impression and set the stage for my entire state. On the improvement side, it's how there service people use some metallic like sound knocking on my door to communicate without an invitation or expecting. I found it intrusive. As most of the other hotels do. I would prefer just a simple phone call respecting my time and privacy. And the ground floor room parking in front of the door should be marked and reserved for that room. And help with luggage. I was looking for the cheapest room around when I found this, so I knew what to expect. I expected a run down building with little to no amenities. I even half expected it to be right underneath the convergence of several major highways, so all you hear all night long is traffic. What I didn't expect was the toilet tank to not refill, so I had to press the valve manually to re-fill it - and the first time I did it, the fill hose came loose and sprayed water all over the bathroom, so I had to use all the towels to dry it. And then when I went to the front desk and politely told them that the toilet needed attention, and that I would need fresh towels in my room they ignored it.

Service at the front desk was terrible. The clerk spent the entire check in process on her phone, which resulted in her asking the same questions many times, as she was not paying attention. The floors were very sticky, and the towels had dirt on them and smelled bad. Bed comfort was decent, television channels available were okay. Water pressure was awful though. Overall I’d say about a 5/10.

Got to room and sheets and comforters were stained and had hair on them. They did give another room but the comforters had stains on them also. No water pressure and drains were really slow. The vending machines were completely empty the whole stay.

Should We Stay or Should We Go
The non smoking room did not smell like smoke and could hear very little of what was going on in other rooms or outside, that was the best thing about the motel/room. The outside areas wreaked of cigarettes and marijuana, whether you were in the front of the motel, on the side of the motel, or in the back area, if you don't mind it, then not a problem, but I don't like smelling it constantly. We had to use the back stairs to access our front of motel room because the stairs in front were broken and missing steps. Some people were using them anyway, but definitely a safety hazard. The clerk checking people in only wanted to say certain things and phrases because their English wasn't so good or just didn't want to engage with customers, which really wasn't a problem, just couldn't answer certain questions that were off script for them. The bathroom had red mildew in the tub/shower, and the base of the faucets had crud around them, so they weren't really wiped down very well and dirt is allowed to accumulate. It wasn't the worst, but we have had better experiences with Motel 6. If those things don't bother you, then by all means, book it and enjoy your stay in NRH.

Fair for the price
I needed to find a motel that did not require a deposit for incidentals. This was the only location within a reasonable distance. There was construction in the immediate area. The noise from the highway was overwhelming not to mention the amount of traffic. As far as the motel itself, some of the staff was rude. Checkout time is 11am and by 11:05am, a guy comes knocking on your door to see of you are leaving. If you dont answer in 30 seconds, he opens the door. I needed a room for 3 nights and was going to a different area. I understand this isn't 5 star but dont impose on people's privacy.

What the SMELL!?!
