Red Cabin Retreat perfect couples getaway!

We invite you to come and relax, in the recently updated, quaint log cabin. It is the perfect spot for a weekend getaway or a romantic escape. Located 15 miles East of Ludington, 14 miles West of Baldwin and by the Manistee National Forest. This is a great place for trail riding, hiking and enjoying the outdoors, with access to a public boat launch 1/2 block away on Long Lake. Perfect for swimming, fishing or spending time in the water kayaking or canoeing.
This quiet cabin gives an inviting romantic, woodsy atmosphere, with modern amenities. This is a smoke free and pet free premises.
The cabin is equipped with a stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, Kerig, coffee maker, pots, pans, dishes and utensils. We have cable TV and Internet/ Wi Fi. The bedroom has a luxurious, king bed. There is also a futon and twin sleeper for additional guests.
This quiet getaway provides plenty of places to relax, from sitting in front of the real stone fireplace reading, or in the gazebo or around the firepit.

This is our second time staying at the cabin and it was just as nice as the last. The cabin has everything you need and communication with the owner is always great. Neighborhood is nice and quiet so after a long day in downtown Ludington, it’s nice to come back to the peace and quiet.

The Little Red Cabin was a perfect destination for our romantic weekend getaway. Elly’s attention to detail was superb; everything was thought of. We absolutely loved the red cabin in the woods. Has everything you could want. The weather didn't cooperate for us to enjoy outside however it was really nice to be able to just relax. The bed is very comfortable and soft. Highly recommend!

Red Cabin Retreat is very welcoming and relaxing. Felt like we were staying with close friends or relatives. The cabin has everything you could possibly need and more. The outdoor area is very spacious and has many extra amenities that allows you to kick back and relax, such as the gazebo, fire pit, swing, etc. Perfect getaway!

This property is perfect for a romantic get away. It has all the amenities and more, just like being at home. Elly has gone out of her way to be accommodating to us. There are so many sitting areas in nature and the bonfire area was beautiful. It is wonderful that it has a covered area in case of rain. Perfect for morning coffee. We will probably be back our next trip to Ludington since everything is so close. Nice job!

The Red Cabin exceeded expectations. The property is fun and even better than the pictures. The Cabin itself was fun and had everything we needed and more. This was a great place to relax/recharge for a few days! We lucked out with beautiful weather and spent most of our time outside. Communication with host Elly was amazing as was the tour of property provided by property manager Bob. We brought food for breakfasts and lunches, but really enjoyed the deluxe thin crust pizza from Branch Grocery and highly recommended!

What a wonderful cabin! No matter how long you stay, it won't be enough. So many neat touches throughout the cabin, was plenty big for our family of four. Long Lake is only 100 meters from the cabin - you can go fishing or kayaking - and there are plenty of options to explore local beaches and landmarks. Awesome place and Elly was a great host. Would definitely come back!

My hubby and I were looking to get away for a few days. The Red Cabin provided the perfect place to relax and enjoy! The cabin is decorated to create a true cabin experience and they have everything you could possibly need during your stay. We were greeted by Bob with a tour and history of the cottage and area. He and Elly were always available for any questions we had. Great place to stay!

This place was wonderful! Close to Ludington as we where fishing every day with everything we needed. They have an outdoor picnic area and a fire pit. Bed was cozy, also had a daybed and fold out couch. The only issue was the well water had a stinch but they left us bottled water (no big deal to me)
