"If you're looking for a place to relax and enjoy woodland walks from a warm comfortable base, Lodge 26 is perfect for you. There were only two of us but it sleeps up to 6 with one double and two twin rooms. The kitchen is well equipped and the living area is comfortable with an incredible view. "The room was clean. The majority of the staff was very helpful and attentive. We had a couple of minor inconveniences, such as the room was not prepared when we arrived. We had requested 2 beds and it was made with one. We had to request twice for it to be made up properly before it was done. (The housekeeping staff was very apologetic.) For the cost, more than $550/night, the view out the large lovely window was of the parking lot. :( And we had hoped for a historic hotel as that is what we searched for, and the main hotel was lovely and historic, but we were housed out in the newer spa building across the parking lot. Nice and clean, but not historic. Also, it’s a bit of a walk to the city center. About 20-25 minutes walk."
