Olivia Balmes Hotel

"We had a wonderful experience at this hotel, and a huge part of that was down to the brilliant staff. Everyone was incredibly polite, friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. A special mention must go to the doorman, particularly the smaller gentleman, who was always so pleasant and helpful. His warm welcome and friendly manner really stood out and made us feel looked after from the moment we arrived. The bellboy (tall young man)was equally fantastic — professional, courteous, and always ready to assist whenever needed. The reception guy was also excellent, handling everything with a smile and making us feel genuinely welcome when we booked in. I would also like to praise the housekeeping team. They did a wonderful job . Overall, the staff are a real credit to the hotel. Their professionalism, kindness, and willingness to help made our stay even more enjoyable. Brilliant service from a brilliant team — thank you all!"

"Hôtel fun cool avec des ados. Chambre très très très petite pour 3 personnes avec les 3 lors simples. Terrasse resto et piscine étaient super. Bel hôtel un peu loin à pied de tout mais nous savions ça et nous voulions seulement profiter de la piscine et resto. Recommandé!"

"We ( two of us) enjoyed Hotel Barcelona Center throughout our six day stay. The hotel is centrally located in a residential neighborhood with excellent metro connections and walking distance to many nice restaurants and cafes. The carrer de Catalunya and Passeig de Gracia are close. It is less touristic than other areas. Our spacious room was air conditioned, very quiet (ours was on floor 5 overlooking the courtyard), with good blackout curtains. The staff was friendly and helpful (and multilingual.) The rooftop terrace was nice with great views. We would definitely stay here again."

"There was hair in the shower before I arrived but other than that it was a spacious room was good for a quick stay. They had shampoo, body gel, and soap! My only other complaint is that the rooms are not sound proof at all. I could hear the people walking above me and the conversations of those next to me."

"Second stay here and I will always stay at this hotel now. Not a far walk away from anywhere. Good size rooms, rooftop pool. Only constructive point would be to have the bar open at the rooftop pool, it would be a huge plus! Also the hot tub was closed, not a huge issue in the warm weather but it is meant to be one of the amenities. Overall, I’d definitely recommend!"
