John has rented with us several times and we are happy that he does! He is very communicative and responsible and leaves our house in good condition. When there was a momentary problem with the internet he showed patience and understanding in working it out. I absolutely recommend him to other future hosts if they would be so lucky for him to come their way.

I am sorry there were misunderstandings with our house rules regarding a number of issues. I will be happy to discuss these items, in detail, on the phone if you'd like. Let me know. Thank you for your comments; we really appreciate your review. We apologize about the limited AC. That was truly our mis-step. Since your visit, we have revised our literature to reflect that AC is only in two bedrooms, not the whole house. Our house is a quaint farmhouse in the White Mts. in a quiet, rural area. To our knowledge, no one has trash pick-up in our area. And no, we do not offer a housekeeper for our guests. The fact that trash must be separated, recycled and hauled to the city dump is very clearly stated in our literature. The dump's location and hours are also listed there. The complete handling, recycling and transporting of trash is emphasized in our literature and our House Rules. I am truly sorry you did not notice this before accepting this rental. Hopefully many hours spent relaxing on the porch, taking in the view of Mt. Kinsman, made up for some of your inconvenience. Our goal is to provide a clean, safe and relaxing home for our guests. Dear Amielia, We truly regret that the rocking chairs had just been "stored away" for the winter by our caretaker, a day or two before you arrived. I am so sorry!
