"My husband and I are frequent flyers of VRBO, but this couple that owns this home are the sweetest, most kindest and understanding people (now friends) we have ever met. This is by far the best home that we have stayed at, it was so beautiful, quiet, peaceful, it was Heaven on the mountain. It was the first time in West VA and it was so beautiful there, we are now planning to move within this year. Norman and Sylvia are by far the sweetest people ever. You will not be not be sorry. I promise you won’t be sorry that you stayed here. Looking at dates to book again. Go to Smokehole Canyon. This is what you will see. "

"I can not speak highly enough about Monterey Inn! What a great place to stay and relax! Our room was so comfortable and big! Dual adjustable king size bed, heated towel rack & Bathroom, huge walk in shower! The owner was so wonderful and accommodating we truly felt at home! Only an hour away from snowshoe. The views on any drive you take are spectacular! Will definitely be back to the Monterey Inn! "

"There was some confusion on my part & we stayed in the wrong cabin. Tashina was great about the whole mix up. We paid the extra cost & it ended up being ok. From the time I had booked the cabin until I got home, Tashina was great with getting back to me when I messaged her. We accidentally stayed in the “family” cabin & the cabin was incredible. It had lots of room for 2 people & 2 big dogs. I was thankful that there were heaters in every room, it got cold at night. We didn’t use the hot tub so I can’t comment on that. Overall, we had an amazing time and we would definitely stay again! The people who own the cabin are awesome! Thank you Tashina! "
