Wildflowers and flowering trees a plenty adorn the property that is home to this 2-bedroom cabin and separate laundry room building with a carport and a lighted party pavilion for cookouts. The well stocked kitchen has everything you need to cook all your meals in, cookout on the pavilion grill or take the picnic basket out for an adventure and return home to make smores in the handcrafted outdoor stone fireplace. Comfortably sleeps 4 and stocked with everything you need. Starlink Internet/Wi-Fi and Dish TV provide modern convenience in an old- timey atmosphere with end-of-the-road privacy in a secluded (but not remote) neighborhood of only 11 homes tucked in between two ridges. Located 6 miles from the town of Franklin in the beautiful Smoky Mountains, this cozy cabin is a five-minute walk to the Hickory Knoll Creek and 1.5 miles to The Little Tennessee River where you can launch the raft from the community park and float away your worries. The lady Slipper Lodge is centrally located to all the activities western NC has to offer-gem mining, hiking, rafting, tubing, waterfalls, fishing and a short drive to The Smoky Mountain National Forest, Biltmore Estate, Cherokee, Helen GA, Nantahala Outdoor Center, Harrah's Casino, The Tail of the Dragon, Gatlinburg TN, Dollywood, Asheville and Highlands.
