We had a great time. Cabin was very clean and well equipped with everything you could need. Felt like we were staying at a friend’s house instead of a rental.
Our stay was wonderful! Everything was just as listed. We spent many evenings on the porch listening to the stream or teaching our son to skip rocks. This trip was to relax and reconnect and unplug. This house had everything we needed to do just that. Both beds were super comfortable and we all slept great after our adventures. Thank you so much! We will be back!
My daughter and I loved the cabin and the location to all of the hiking. The place is perfect for a family retreat. Hannah and Lance has is setup perfectly. The beds are the most comfortable that I have slept on in any vacation rental.
Thanks so much for sharing your place. Kenny and Brittany.
Cabin is well appointed. Very quiet with stream view from porch. Comfortable furnishings. Incline on driveway entrance easily traversed with 2 wheel drive.
We love this cabin. It is an ideal family getaway! It is outfitted perfectly for your stay. The sounds of the stream behind the cabin are so soothing. We will be back!
We greatly enjoyed our time at this cabin. Everything on the listing was accurate. Extremally private location, as it shares a road with only one other cabin. The creek frontage offers a great place for families to spend hours enjoying the outdoors.
This is, by far, one of the best places we have visited! We plan to come back in the summer and fall if we can get it booked! Thank you for giving us a new home away from home.
We had a very relaxing time with family. My grandson enjoyed playing in the creek. He caught his first fish at Andy's Trout Pond. This cabin is very comfortable.
We loved the everything about the cabin! We had lots of rain, resulting in the stream transforming into a raging river. The location is convenient (by car) to dining and shopping as well as hiking. Lots of nature to enjoy here, including hummingbirds, groundhogs, etc. Check for local events or farmers markets during your stay.
I brought my mom here for her 87th birthday. We loved everything about the cabin. The location is beautiful, peaceful and secluded. The cabin is wonderfully appointed, clean and comfortable. The back porch and rockers were our favorite spot along with sitting by the creek. We didn’t use the fire pit but it’s a beautifully done area. The landscaping, both natural and planted are gorgeous. We didn’t want to leave and will definitely be back!
We had a wonderful week at the cabin and created many family memories! The kiddos enjoyed the creek and s’mores in the evening. The internet was a little spotty, but we made do with some trips into Franklin to catch up on emails. A relaxing and quiet place to recharge and enjoy your surroundings.
One of the best experiences we’ve ever had. The cabin is very family friendly and well equipped with all you will need AND MORE. We hope to rent again in the future for more family stays.
The location tucked away in the trees with the best creek ever was 10/10!
The WiFi and TV aren’t the best but it’s great for unplugging and have downloaded things on the iPad for the kiddos!
Only about 11ish minutes from the store. My little one is 2.5 and it was perfection for her. She loved every bit of the cabin!
We stayed three weeks in the cozy creek side cabin. Enjoyed the fire pit, building stone sculptures by the creek (which you can hear from the house) and played horse shoes. Beautiful grounds filled with chestnuts, wild flowers and lots of friendly birds. We looked to extend our stay but realized it was already booked.
Definitely a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the time being away from city life.
Everything about the cabin and our week-long stay was TOP-NOTCH … starting with the close proximity to Franklin and the obvious fact that the property is well-cared for and well maintained … factors such as the cleanliness, the comfort of the beds, the wonderful private secluded view from the expansive back porch on which we spent a lot of time enjoying our morning coffee listening to the sound of the creek as well as the generous supply of dry firewood and extras of household supplies like towels, washcloths, cookware, soaps and toiletries were all obvious efforts indicating that the owners very much wanted to make their guests feel comfortable and happy to be in their space!
They were quite successful!
Thank you Hannah and Lance!
