Great time to spend with friends, enjoyed the cabin while it was rainy and took a short drive to some awesome hikes and water falls when the weather was nice.

Large house with a fantastic view. We had lots of fun playing ping pong and pool although the pool table is on it’s last leg. Kitchen is well stocked and we had a fantastic time.

2024 Family Get Together

Beautiful setting, plenty of room for 12 family members. Well furnished although couldn’t really say there was a pool table with uneven surfaces, missing one ball and only one cue. Overall we had a great time and loved the location!

Mountain family getaway

My family celebrated my dad’s 80th birthday at this mountain cabin. We had a lot of family time. The cabin was beautiful and spacious. There was enough room for all 12 of us.

One of our most favorite vacations in years!

Our extended family loved the layout of the cabin, the paved road up to the cabin, and everything else about our stay! We are already making plans to go back next summer if we can book Cabin #1 again! All the guys loved the pool table and hot tub. There was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space, the location was fantastic and there was no traffic in the gated community. We'll be back next August if all goes well and we'd love to stay longer next time!!

Wonderful House & Owners!

We just completed our amazing stay at this beautiful home! Kitchen is very well stocked and the beds are super comfortable. Large bedrooms and bathrooms. We never felt crowded or cramped anywhere in the home with our family of 11. The view is just wonderful! Everyone in our family enjoyed this home. There was an issue with some outdoor renovations being done on the lower deck/patio not being completed before our stay like they were supposed to be, but one of the owners called me early afternoon the day before our stay to inform me and we came to an agreement to make the loss of the space right. I really appreciated their candor and willingness to do whatever they could to make it right and make sure we'd be happy. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!

Wonderful Cabin

The cabin was absolutely wonderful! When we arrived the caretaker of the house was there to meet us. She had been able to get the tree out but had not been able to decorate it yet and asked if we would like to. We were so excited to be able to decorate the tree and the rest of the cabin. There was an issue with the hot tub but she called and did some trouble-shooting and got it fixed for us before she left the property. We truly appreciate her extra effort to make sure that we had every amenity available to us. The kitchen is well equipped and had so much room for what we brought with us and the bedrooms are enormous. There are some other cabins close by but we never even knew that they were there. We are talking about booking it again for a family get-away in the near future.

The flying squirrel

Getting into the property was a bit long. Takes a while to get from the gate to the cabin. Almost 10 mins. So make sure you get all your groceries beforehand so you don’t have to be going in and out of the property. Once we made it into the cabin, we looked around to make sure all was good and all was good at first glance. We noticed a half cigarette on the pool table.. the pool table itself was tilted so any hopes of a game were shot. Ping pong table was great except we had to place it on top of the oool table. Anyway the title of this review is the flying squirrel. Wasn’t a huge deal but freaked everyone out specially having a small dog. We thought it was a rat at initial glance so that was unsettling. We eventually got it out through the downstairs door after it ran around the second floor. The smoke pit is communal which wasn’t the best. And there are two other cabins in close proximity about 50-70 yards from the cabin. Overall we had fun. Didn’t use the jacuzzi nor the fire pit. We made our memories. Went to the falls and main st and ingles. Which by the way there is a small ingles and two better ingles. Go to the better ones….

The most beautiful view

Wonderful experience in a beautiful cabin with so much to do, you don’t even have to leave. The views are breathtaking! My kids loved the hot tub, ping pong table, and pool table! So much room to spread out! It was great!

Great family vacation home!

Jeanette’s home was amazing! We made so many great memories as a family- playing ping pong, pool, hanging out in the hot tub and playing games at the massive dining room table! Exploring Franklin was such a unique and neat experience! Don’t miss the Lazy Hiker or Outdoor 76 for a beer and the Crabtree general store for some ice cream and coffee. We would definitely consider coming back. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us!

Nothing short of amazing

This place is beyond words. Once the gps took you a few diffent ways to get there! For a large gathering, plenty of room. Everyone had an amazingly comfortable place to sleep. I did wish for the amount of people it accommodated the patio had more outdoor furnishings, but it wasnt a deal breaker we moved things in and out. The cooking space was phenomenal. Only has one public access restroom which was difficult otherwise you had to go thorough other peoples rooms which is kinda invasive if its more friends then family. Overall amazing property manager, amazing cabin, amazing view, amazing experience. We couldnt have found a better place fitting for our needs for a USMC reunion/50th birthday. We would rent again and again.

The view was beautiful.

Negatives: Needs a little more attention to cleaning. (Ceiling fan was loaded with dust, we cleaned a couple for you) A little cosmetic attention in the bathtub area around the tub and ceiling to hide water damageand possible and questionable mold. Loft bath had a broken tolit paper holder. A bowl (red one) need to be replaced due to a huge crack down the side we didnt see untilk our contints start coming out the side. Lots of game parts missing. However, the cabin was well stocked and very beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and grateful for the owner sharing their home with us. We took down all sheets and towels and started a load before leaving and did a load of towells and put away. Ps...we sent videos to the owner saying thank you. Hopefully they can atill be reviewed if you disnt see them. Thank you again for sharing your home. And we did sign the quest book too.
