"Food was great! Room is god too. Poor mobile phone signal. Many trucks due to building extension work. Will be perfect after the wirk is completed! Great spa and swimming pool."

The only positive aspects of our stay were the spa and the view, which were both very nice. Unfortunately, those few good points didn’t make up for the overall lack of cleanliness and misleading listing. Would not recommend to anyone and specially to ones travelling with kids."
"Good value single bed room in top condition and lots of space, with a very good buffet breakfast (if you arrive before 9 - after the choice was limited), a small in-house wellness sauna and access (8 minutes drive or free bus) to partner hotel’s impressive wellness centre (pool, several saunas, steam, plus charged treatments). Food in the atmospherically alpine dining rooms was good, if slightly on the expensive side. Not so good: the website promises a direct access to a lift and alpine run - no information that this had, in fact run out of snow and was closed over a month ago. But the close enough run (Notschrei) was good enough. "

Sitting on the balcony for meals and staring out over the serene valley capped a wonderful day of exploring the Black Forest. So many interesting areas to visit within a short drive and the only problem was having to leave this wonderful home to explore the area. I couldn't have been happier staying at Chalet Foret. "
