"Fine for an overnight stay next to the highway, but disappointing for a Van der Valk hotel. Some good points: easy location, ample free parking, and large rooms with balconies. However this hotel clearly isn’t run to the same high standards as others in the chain. The decor has bumps, scrapes and marks everywhere, and it’s not acceptable to let black mould grow in the shower. "

"Located just steps away from the Grand Place, this hotel is charming, clean, comfortable and the staff are wonderfully kind and helpful. The bed has been so comfortable and I have been able to enjoy a plethora of events just steps away. Highly recommend! "

"Outstanding country property in triangle between Flanders, Wallonia and France. Pristine property with unique detailing hosted by attentive hosts. Sumptuous European breakfasts amid panoramic views. Rooms modern with the best of sleeping arrangements including soaking tub and walk-in showers. No detail too small to be attended too. We absolutely loved our stay and you will too!"

"It was our second stay at this hotel and if we hadn't had a good stay the first time, we would never have gone back. But the hotel was easy to use, easy to find, easy to book, reasonable cost and reasonable facilities. It will never be a 5-Star Hotel, but it doesn't pretend to be either! We will definitely stay there again the next time we are in Kortrijk and there definitely will be a next time....."

"I had a great time overall it was clean and comfortable and the front of desk staff were lovely and so helpful! I didn't try the breakfast because I had plans. However as the male cleaner tried to creepily flirt with me as I was trying to leave the hotel it wasn't a perfect stay. Aside from that issue all was perfect."

"We were pleasantly surprised with the hotel. It was so modern and had a lovely feel to it. The young lady on reception was wonderful. She made us feel very welcome and was very helpful and informative. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed for dinner as it was a Sunday but she gave us information on where we could eat and it was easy to find and very good with a lot of choice Everywhere was spotless and our room was excellent. Very clean and quiet. Would definitely go there again."

"Great when travelling by car as plenty of parking. Check in staff were great. Had a terrible nights sleep due to how hot and stuffy the room was. You can either choose to have the shutter down for privacy at night or have it up and let air in but then passers by can see you sleeping. Really could do with a curtain on the inside of window. "

"The hotel was modern, spacious, clean with a friendly ambience. The only negatives were that a couple of lamps didn't work and that the key cards stopped working a couple of times. We had a family room (2 separate spacious rooms with 2 bathrooms and our own mini hallway) - it would be nice if we had a doorstop for both rooms not just the one. We kept one door ajar with a towel to avoid locking ourselves out. We enjoyed watching the airport next door in action. Breakfast was very nice but I wouldn't recommend it for dinner (plenty of other options close by) It was very easy to get there from the motorway with plenty of parking "
