Comfort Inn Barboursville near Huntington Mall area

8/10 Good

"First impressions are everything and when I got here the person that is suppose to check us in is outside having a smoke. She seemed disturbed that we arrived . It was late and I get it, but it just seemed rude when she told me to wait. The beds were not very comfortable, but after I found the curtain to block out the light that was in my eyes I was able to get some sleep. The shower was great, except for some black mold on the ceiling. Plenty of counter space."

"Overnight stay on the way to Louisville and not disappointed. The hotel was nice. Rooms were basic but very clean and priced fairly for our weekday stay. The casino was very nice and super fun. The blackjack dealers were our favorite part of the experience. They were so funny and friendly and helpful as many of us were not experienced gamblers and they made it so much fun and also, a learning experience. We didn’t get a chance to see a dog race but plan to come back bc it was so much fun!!"

"No real problems, just an ok place to stay. Restrooms in the stalls in the lobby restrooms were very small and both urinals in the men’s room were broken. When we came into turn in key cards the desk attendent was talking with another employee and I had to interrupt to get directions to breakfast, no signs were posted. Don’t think I’ll stay again."
