"Cheaper Than Therapy" is a charming 1950s German-style twin door, single family home located just 2 short blocks from the heart of downtown Fredericksburg. It is said that two doors were used to provide symmetry and were also a symbol of prosperity. “If your neighbor has one, why shouldn’t you have two?” This great home is walking distance to everything that Main Street has to offer. There are really few locations that compare! Cheaper Than Therapy has been designed with care and thoughtfulness with little touches throughout that will make you feel as comfortable as if you were in your own home. Tastefully decorated, it offers several conversation arrangements out in the back yard – under the gazebo, around the fire pit or on the deck just off the queen bedroom. The kitchen has everything you would need to cook meals or entertain. All new appliances, newly renovated and fully stocked with cookware, dishwasher, glassware, etc. Two full bathrooms including large walk-in showers. All three bedrooms will comfortably sleep two. You can’t beat the location or comfort of this home in Fredericksburg, Texas!

Amazing Place

This was the first time for my sisters to go to Fredericksburg and our stay at Cheaper Than Therapy definitely made the trip. From the beautifully decorated rooms (and I mean ALL the rooms), to the location to Main Street there was nothing left for us to do but enjoy our time there! This place was amazing!

Perfect weekend getaway!

Loved the decor of this home from the barn doors in the bedrooms to the large showers in the bathrooms. Perfect size home for our group of 6. Very convenient to Main Street so you could walk and not have to worry about driving. Definitely a 5-Star stay from us!

Bachelor's Thanksgiving

Me and a cousin had a Bachelor's Thanksgiving trip to Fredericksburg. We had a blast. The house nicely furnished, and very clean. Great backyard and front porch to hang out. Great place to stay. Only a one minute walk to Main St.

Perfect couples getaway!

This rental was PERFECT for our couples getaway weekend. Check in was easy, and check-out was even better. The location was close enough to main street and everywhere else we went. The place was very clean and DECOR was beyond gorgeous. The beds were sooo comfortable, we got to catch up on a few much-needed hours of sleep. We will definitely be back!

The house is quaint and located within walking distance to the Main Street which was very convenient. The hosts have made this a lovely place to stay. The beds were super comfortable, with extra blankets tucked in the closet. There were umbrellas hanging by the front door, if needed. It was very clean and in a quiet neighborhood. Highly recommend!

Lovely accommodations convenient to Main and walking distance to Hill & Vine and Sunday Supply Coffee shop complete with adorable patio. We really enjoyed the backyard and porch every morning. So adorable!! Decorated in perfect Hillcountry style, this 3 bedroom home was perfect for my weekend getaway. Super close to Main Street, this home had everything we needed (except for a keruig, which I highly recommend) and was conveniently located to everything that was on our "to-do" list. I would definitely stay there again, especially in colder months so I could use the fire pit!

Christmas in July w/Adult Kids

The property was beautiful! All of the bedrooms were large and included robes. The living/dining space was large enough for more than 6 people to comfortably sit. The showers were large and had great water pressure. The location was close to HEB and Main Street. Several great restaurants were within walking distance. It was too hot to enjoy the outside areas, but one of the bedrooms had a patio adjoining it. There was a grill and a firepit too with lots of available seating. The kitchen is fully stocked with plates, utensils, cookware and basic seasonings. I have stayed in several vacation homes in Fredericksburg within the past 7 years. This location is my favorite based on spaciousness and location. Anyone staying here as couples, families, girls or guys trip would enjoy it.
