Enjoyed the cabin even if we were just there for short time. It was a little difficult getting in shower, meed step stool and mat in Tub so as not to slip. Loved the pond and water mill.

Grist Mill Cabin

Very nice, cute cabin. Walking distance to The Cabernet Grill, which is very good. Also, close to Lady Bird Johnson Park and the Gillespie Fairgrounds, if you are attending events at either. Outside of town, but still a very short drive. Even though you are next to Mr. Gatti's, it still has a country feel.

Nice cozy cabin

The venue includes a goldfish pond with a water wheel, great security, very cozy, and comfortable. It would be nice to have a gas burning fire place instead of a wood burning fireplace. I plan on renting again next year… Loved all of the decor. Ben and Cheryl

Nice little getaway

My wife and I wanted to get out of town and stay somewhere for the evening. This worked out perfectly, we arrived late in the evening but was a little surprised that is shared the parking lot with a restaurant but due to our late arrival it wasn’t an issue. Nice place but also be aware that the toilet is only separated by a curtain so if you are shy around your partner just be aware.

It was a nice quiet cabin . Located short distances from all of the area attractions we lived it. Thanks for the time there. I would say check out the coffee pot I tried 2 times to make it work but never could and I have a kureig at home I use so I don't know what I was doing wrong. But again we lived it.

Quaint - Rustic Cabin - Nice

The people we worked with (reservations, housekeeping, etc.) were wonderful. A few things make this a 4-star review. The location is immediately next to a fairly large Mr. Gatti's pizza. Therefore, it is NOT remote. On the other side, there is an SPCA kennel that you WILL hear in the mornings especially. This used to be a B&B surrounded by fields and other small cabins. Then...A chain pizza joint moved in :( The cabin itself is unique and fun! Nice fireplace, small kitchenette, large bedroom with attached toilet and large jet tub/shower combo. No issues with the bedroom setup except having nightstands on both sides of a king bed would be nice. Note - other than a curtain around the toilet and another at the entrance to the bedroom, no privacy in the bedroom/bathroom. The kitchenette is just a sink, small microwave, and 1/4 size refrigerator. It is functional like a hotel room. Small dining area attached. Living room and kitchenette are combined and the couch and fireplace were nice. Especially the fireplace! Around the entire cabin, there are empty wine bottles serving as a remnant of previous stays. It is a nice touch, but it's gone a little overboard and we had to move dozens of them to have some horizontal space for our items and Christmas dinner prep/serving. Not a big negative if they'll just keep some more unique ones and save some shelf space :) Location - some maintenance issues - and some miscommunication about the fire pit, fireplace, and wood = 4-stars.
