About this property
Madagascar-Inspired Tiny Home | Jungle Decor, Fire Pit & Hill Country Stars
Welcome to Tiny Islands Resort – Madagascar, a bold and adventurous tiny home retreat that channels the wild beauty, earthy tones, and exotic spirit of Madagascar—right in the heart of the Texas Hill Country. This immersive escape blends safari-inspired design with cozy comfort, creating a stay that feels playful, transportive, and unforgettable.
This two-bedroom, one-bath tiny home is part of a thoughtfully designed property featuring six individually rented tiny homes, offering a peaceful rural setting while still being close to Blanco’s most loved attractions. Every inch of the space is curated to feel intentional, warm, and rich with character.
Bedroom one is tucked into a cozy sleeping nook next to the kitchen and beneath the lofted living area. Designed purely for rest, this snug retreat features a queen-sized bed dressed in jungle-inspired bedding with tiger motifs and lush foliage prints that set the tone for the adventure. The mattress rests on the floor, and while the ceiling is low and not intended for standing, a window across from the bed fills the space with natural light and creates a connection to the outdoors—perfect for drifting off after a day of exploring.
Across the kitchen, the bathroom offers a clean, simple walk-in shower—ideal for refreshing after a hike or a night spent around the fire pit.
Bedroom two is located above the bathroom and accessed by a ladder, adding a fun, treehouse-like element to the stay. This lofted sleeping space features a queen-sized mattress on the floor with soft earth-toned bedding and animal print accents. A window brings in natural light, and while the ceilings remain low, the space feels cozy, adventurous, and intentionally tucked away—just right for a restful night’s sleep.
The long kitchenette provides everything you need for simple meals and snacks, including a microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, and two bar stools for casual dining or morning coffee before heading out.
The lofted living room is the heart of the home and a true highlight of the experience. Accessed by a short staircase and tall enough for average-height adults to stand comfortably, this space feels open and inviting. A plush rust-colored velvet sofa adds warmth and texture, while a reclaimed wood accent wall and African-inspired art and décor complete the Madagascar theme. A wall-mounted streaming TV makes this a great spot to relax, unwind, or enjoy a cozy movie night after a day of Hill Country adventures.
Outside, your private outdoor area continues the safari-inspired vibe. Soft yellow Adirondack chairs surround the fire pit for evenings spent under the stars when burn bans allow, paired with a matching picnic table and charcoal grill for relaxed outdoor meals. It’s an ideal setting for storytelling, stargazing, and soaking in the quiet beauty of the countryside. Dogs are welcome to join you, just be sure they remain leashed when outside.
The rural setting makes this property perfect for stargazing and wildlife viewing, with frequent sightings of whitetail deer, foxes, and native birds. Despite the peaceful surroundings, you’re just a short drive from Blanco Square, the Hill Country Lavender Farm, local dance halls, and a wide variety of Hill Country activities including hiking, swimming, shopping, antiquing, and dining.
Tiny Islands Resort – Madagascar is ideal for couples, families, or friends seeking a stay that feels playful, creative, and a little wild. Please note that this is a true tiny home, and the bedroom ceilings are low—part of the cozy, adventurous charm that makes this escape so unique.
If you’re craving something different, immersive, and full of personality, Tiny Islands Resort – Madagascar offers a safari-inspired stay where imagination meets comfort and the Hill Country becomes your wild escape.

Great property.. nice space in living area, good size kitchen, well stocked with dishes, applicances, etc. Outdoor area great for looking at the stars, nice grill area. Close enough to Fredricksburg, but out in the country.. on the way to Luckenbach. Will definately go back.
Excellent place to stay if your going to Fredricksburg. About 5-7 mins from Fredricksburg and 15 mins from Lukenbach. Very clean and beautiful house and land! Location is great! Defiantly will use these guys again and get this house to stay in price is excellent for what you get in the house!
We very much enjoyed the accommodations. Nice to be in the countryside. Facility is handsome, very clean, beautifully furnished. Everything was just right.
The experience in this place was fantastic, the property is beautiful, clean and super convenient with respect to the location! Definitely I will rent this property again! Highly recommended! No regret at all!
This is the second time we have stayed here. Very clean (there were a few dead bugs laying around -but good they were dead haha). Only complaint is not enough wash cloths for days spent there. Other than that it was wonderful!
A very, modern, handicap accessible comfortable house with everything included except groceries . Super soft towels, good a/c, comfy chairs. Could have used a better cleaning as there was dust and debris in corners of bathroom floor. Minutes from the wineries and downtown. Owner immediately answered our questions. A great place and very quiet… even as close to 290 as it was. I would stay again!
Great place with lots of amenities and plenty of open space both inside and out. Very clean and great gathering place close to Fredricksburg and Luckenboch.

Enjoyed our stay in this very well kept home. Clean, quiet and comfortable. Easy access into town.
This cabin is exactly as described. It was a quick and easy check in process. The cabin is close enough to town, but also out in the country. It was quiet and we really enjoyed our stay.
Really enjoyed our stay - loved watching the deer in the early morning and late evenings. Very comfortable cabin and enjoyed the extra space inside and out. Also, very accessible to activities - wineries, wildflower loop, restaurants without being around the downtown hustle & bustle.
The property was lovely and cozy, exactly as depicted in the photos. We were minutes away from the main street of Fredericksburg, yet had the feel of being "away from it all." Even though it was a holiday, the proprietors were quick to respond to questions. We will gladly stay there the next time we visit Fredericksburg.
