The Hummingbird was a perfect place to stay. Located in the quiet end of Main Street. The unit was an oversized and large bathroom with hot shower. Would definitely recommend for a short stay.

Peaceful retreat in the center of everything!

We’re two introverts and the check-in/ check-out process was simple and smooth. The room has all basic needs and it was great to be within walking distance of the Oktoberfest activities but at the same time not directly in the middle of any chaos! We will definitely be repeat visitors.

We stayed here in another room some years back and did not have a good experience, but this time was totally different! The room was amazing, bed was good, albeit a bit soft for our taste, and we love this location due to the ability to have nice long walks to coffee and breakfast. We would definitely come back!

Nice and quiet place.

Great location in Fredericksburg. Four blocks from the shops and restaurants which kept us far enough out of the crowds but within walking distance. The pool helped us cool off after our hike at Enchanted Rock. The room was clean and we had everything we needed.

Great Place

This is a great place on Main Street. Nice and clean and easy to check in. There is a quite a walk into the main shops along Main Street. The shower is super nice and the bed is comfortable. The parking is a little tight on the weekends but plenty of parking spaces. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect for getaway!

Nice little cottage! Clean and new. Would be perfect for groups if you got 2 or 3 of these. Location is West end of Main St. Its walkable to the closer shops and restaurants.

Very impressed with the cleanliness and comfort of this place!! The room was very spacious and we enjoyed the "little" fireplace. The bathroom was spacious as well with a great shower! The only change I would have liked is a larger bar of soap for the shower! I also appreciated the nice lighting near the bathroom mirrors!! Thanks for a nice stay!!!

Quiet location not far off the Main area hub. Super happy with all and would book again. The only item I’d pout out is only certain units have the pool right at your door, as some pics show. If that’s important to you just confirm. Loved the place and highly recommend.

Communication from reservations did not come through. Had a hard time getting someone. Code was given to me over phone. Had difficulty finding as we were looking for the cottage name.

Great time celebrating our children!

We were their to see our daughter/future son in law get engaged. Our group had total of 5 units rented. Our kids room a/c didn't work, after several phone calls you luckily had another unit available, it just sucked that they had to move in the middle of their stay on the one weekend that should have been one of their best weekends together. His parents house had no hot water, good thing it was a hot summer weekend. Our room was very nice to stay in, very well decorated and the bed was pretty comfortable, I would say our room was great. I would strongly suggest you work on the codes to getting into the rooms. After getting our code and then my daughter having to tell me hers. I pretty much could walk into any ones room on the premises. Might need to make them a little more unique and not easy to guess.

Hummingbird Hideaway Stay

Hummingbird Hideaway is a wonderful weekend getaway. The room is spacious, clean and comfortable. It's close enough to all the action and far enough away to be quiet. We'll stay here again. OH! The wine tour was a blast and well worth the time. You never know who you'll meet and our group was amazing and the wineries were all good.
