The Blue Haus was awesome. All the amenities were great, and the attention to details was really appreciated. It is in a central location and close to many places. My husband enjoyed the garage and having a safe place to park. Keep in mind it is very bright once the morning sun come up.

We enjoyed this very clean, updated, comfortable house in a quiet neighborhood! The beds were comfortable, and everything we needed in the kitchen was provided. Our only suggestion is that a lamp is needed in the bedroom with twin beds. We would stay there again.

Absolutely Loved the Blue Door Haus!

This property was absolutely perfect for our weekend trip to Fredericksburg! The home was clean and spacious, and was able to accommodate our party of 5 more than comfortably. Rachel (the property manager) did a great job answering any questions we had in a timely manner! I wouldn’t mind staying here again the next time I’m in town! Only suggestions would be to add a mirror in the two bed room and maybe a fire pit in the back yard for guest to enjoy!

The home was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. It was decorated with care. So nice to have a kitchen with al the necessities and the two car garage (although it would have been great to have an opener). We’ll be back!

We usually stay at the RV park or a hotel but this time we decided to try a VRBO. Our first one and it was amazing! Super clean. The kids room was decorated so that even my 10 yr olds enjoyed it. We loved that everyone had their own space and we could cook a few meals and not eat out at every meal. Thank you!

Weekend family trip with 💩

Well appointed home, looks newly remodeled, in some rooms. Brought our grandson and instead of using our high chair, we thought grabbing theirs would be easier. Literally a piece of poop dropped out of it, so disgusting!!! The fire alarm went off every time we used the oven, back yard needs attention, and some curtains would have been nice in the bedrooms. The street lights were very bright at night and forget about sleeping in. I will say the bed was very comfortable. Overall a good stay but would not go back.

Relax and Enjoy

Our first stay at this rental. One of our many trips to Fredericksburg. Such good times. This property is extremely close to the best of everything Fredericksburg has to offer. Shopping, restaurants and wine. We love the spacious house and extremely comfortable beds. The bedrooms and size of beds were a bonus. Loved the double bed and twin in one room. It worked out great for my daughter, husband and 2-year-old. This home is little kid friendly. My grandson enjoyed playing on the "playground" every chance he got. This home does not disappoint. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Blue door haus

Property was as described! Comfortable and clean! We had 2 issues. I called for two days and my calls were never returned. We could not find the remote for the fireplace and the nights were chilly. We had no code to the garage door. We had to close the garage door then walk back through the house. We were very happy with everything else. What’s the point of having a contact if they don’t return the calls?

Very Nice Home with a Couple of Suggestions

This is a very comfortable, clean and cutely decorated home. The owner has taken great care to ensure their visitors have a good stay and the informational notebook is very helpful. Being three women by ourselves, the garage helped us feel very safe when returning at night. The back porch and yard, including the fantastic play set for children is a real plus. There are a couple of suggestions for improvement, but please don’t let these discourage you since these are very fixable and it’s obvious the owner cares about providing a beautiful home. Upon arrival, we noticed the fireplace smell from the previous renters. It wasn’t pleasant, but we were able to get rid of the smell by the next day by opening some windows and the back door. (Perhaps the fireplace should only be decorative and not used by the renters.) There was no soap/body wash in the showers, no shampoo or soap in one bath. Thankfully HEB is close by and we were able to take care of this. Extra suggestions would be to install grab bars in the tub/showers for elderly people since Fredericksburg attracts a good number of older visitors as well as a shade or curtain on the kitchen window. I’d also replace the two missing frame pieces around the bathroom mirror. I feel very confident these small items will be taken care of since so much care has been taken with this home.
