"Nice place. Common areas, restrauant, bar and pool area clean and comfortable. Place has some miles on it but overall a good value."

"The bed was horrible! We were so sore in the morning that we didn’t even end up doing what we had planned for the day."

"This is a very basic hotel. It is on the beach but there are no amenities. Ok there's a coffee machine. There are a few dinner restaurants close by but for everything else you have to go to town. Yes you can walk but who wants to do that for every breakfast? If you come with a car and a cooler you might enjoy it. Be sure to stay on the side facing another property - otherwise you are next to the public parking lot where the surfers etc gather. Add in the garbage truck and the commuter train. I am not sure why it got a high rating. I would give it a 4."

"I did not know property was under renovation. Elevator did not work. Construction worker on property directing traffic through construction into parking garage got snippy with my wife because she wasn’t moving fast enough. Walked to front desk and cancelled our stay, and stayed somewhere else."

"Great location, nice suite, very friendly staff. Best in Del Mar beach area, 5 min walk to downtown.would love to be back. "
