40 th anniversary celebration
Size was great for the two of us parking was easy 25 ft from the door and the cottage was very clean. Not a bad walk to downtown 12 minute walk to shops and restaurants.

Great size place ,very secluded for time of the year. Parking is a lil tight for two trucks two boats bùt some great neighbors let us park one rig up the hill only down fall to any of it was no trash bags for the trash can ! Other then that they brought in a extra DVD player cause they said the other di t work ! We fish eat and sleep there dont really hang out so wasnt a issue at all but will use it again if available plus our friends booked there other place which is really nice two !

This is a review that I’m not surprised to receive. I got a message from the renters, and reached out to them right away. They informed me that my photos were of a different place, and that my listing was dishonest and misleading. I of course asked them to describe the place they were in, and they described the correct place to my surprise as the cabin photos are of the cabin. They then complained that we don’t supply linens, and I asked them if they got the message that I sent the day before reminding them that we don’t supply linens. At that point I was told that he hadn’t actually made the reservation, but his secretary did so he didn’t receive the communication. The cabin is not perfect, and we don’t claim it to be. We strive to keep it a clean, comfortable, and affordable cabin, for those who enjoy the outdoors to stay in. If you want a pampered 5 star resort, we are not the right cabin for you.

Piedmont Lake cabin
My son and I stayed 2 nights with our 2 well-mannered dogs to rent a pontoon boat at the nearby marina for fishing. The cabin is not fancy and does not furnish linens, but had everything we needed, was surprisingly roomy, and comfortable. It met or exceeded my expectations.

Great Sportsman cabin.
Very clean. There was three of us staying there with two bass boats. We had room for both. This little cabin served a very useful purpose for us especially for the price. Remember it's a Sportsman's cabin.

A rustic property with mice and filth.
Just the worse place you could stay. I should been paid to stay there. Mice poop in all the drawers. Completely disgusting. I don't live giving bad reviews, but I would not recommend this place to a hobo.

I’m sorry that our cabin wasn’t for you, however the group that checked out 2 days before you gave a 5 and even called out that it was “very clean”. We have the cabin cleaned between every guest, and strive to make sure everything is good for our guests. By chance the cabins kitchen is being updated this winter, and we will make sure to keep the hobos away.

conveniently located hunting cabin
As hunting cabins go, this one is decent. It's biggest quirk is that the entire cabin seems to be leaning downhill - all the floors will roll a ball in one direction. Approximate room dimensions: 7*11 br 1. 77 7*11 br 2. 77 11*16 kit. 176 7*12 sitting. 84 7*4 bath. 28 16*19 living. 304 746 sq ft

Needed a place to stay close to Piedmont Lake. The cabin was about a half mile from the marina. Had everything I needed for my stay. Only inconvenience was the acorns falling from the tree onto the metal roof of the cabin. Actually was kinda funny. I will definitely stay again.

Works for us
Good proximity to the lake. Owner very helpful. We do fishing trip a few times a year and bring the dogs and this is great for us. Owner very thoughtful, have air on and cabin comfortable before we got there.

We LOVED staying at this property!
I wish we could have stayed longer. While our stay was short, we enjoyed the peacefulness this property offers. The cabin is exactly as described. There is a binder full of information about the cabin, things to do in the area, and places to eat. Randy, our host, was a huge help in answering our questions before we arrived. It was such a great experience all the way around (even our dogs had a blast here!). If we are ever in the area again, we will absolutely check this place out again.

This property is exactly as described. You'll need to bring your own bedding & towels. There are a ton of movies to watch, but we weren't there to watch movies. We did some exploring & if we had more time we would have loved to rent a boat at the marina. We had breakfast at Raiders in Freeport, good food, great servers. Dinner at the Old School House Bar & Grill, which was fantastic! The owners were super friendly, food was excellent will definitely stop again!

Fishing Trip
My dad, mom, and I came to Piedmont Lake to go fishing. Cabin was about half mile up the road from the marina. Cabin was clean, quite, stocked, and very cozy for the three of us. It was nestled back in the woods which was great for shade and privacy but a little tight for the boat. Would def stay here again when we come Musky fishing.

Great little family oriented cabin!
I would give 10 stars if possible! The property owner was very nice and helpful! The cabin was very clean, quite and relaxing. A short drive literally to the marina. We are already thinking of our next trip:-)
