"The hotel staff was very friendly upon arrival...like they were glad that we were there. The check in was easy. We were greeted with a delicious chocolate chip cookie right away. The room was spacious and clean and had all of the amenities. The only disappointing thing was the coffee maker which was a lot of hotels are going to. The breakfast was really nice with eggs, cheese, sausage and ham! There was also cold cereal, fruit and waffle irons. I have to say, the pool and hot tub were some of the better we have experienced...not just a dang room with a pool so the hotel could achieve another star. It had high ceilings, lots of windows and was adjacent the lobby, not down at the end of some long hall. The beds were super comfortable with 3 nice fluffy pillows. The location is great. We loved our stay and will stay again in the future."

"it was very interesting staying here. our first thought was that we should hold a se'ance, and by no means was it scarey to stay in, just sort of the vibe when first arriving and entering the home, would live to dig into the history .. i would have preferred some type of window covering ( no curtains/shades, except for the bathrm window) on the windows. There was also the discovery of no inside door handle on one of the bdrm doors, which i thought to be a hazard as the door opened in and could not be opened from inside if shut completely. and also a air conditioning unit, that stated not to be plugged in, as it would blow a fuse, my thought would be to just remove it. The house was very clean, beds were comfy, kitchen well stocked. unfortunately, we didn't have alot of time to check out the surrounding property, but lots of pretty flowers and natural Prairie grasses around the home. very buggy outside , dont forget bug spray. very close to canoe/kayak launching. I would definitely stay again."

"This property was great! Lots to do in the home itself especially of you have children. We would definitely stay here again of were in the area. We had a few unfortunate issues that were out of anyone's control like the hot tub not working. And we couldnt use the back yard due to grass being grown. There is a park close by and Walmart is close as well! Kate was great at responding and trying to get the hot tub working for us. Highly recommend this place! Thanks again!"
