"We found Nelson House to be a good standard of accommodation. The outside looks a tad tired but the rooms were nice and comfortable. The only thing we found disappointing was the yard space. "The cottage was very cosy, clean and comfortable. Well equipped, neutral decor and good quality home comforts. Bathrooms were brilliant with plenty of hot water. A short walk away from all amenities, but tucked away so you can enjoy a peaceful stay. We had a slight misunderstanding with provision of bedding but this was very quickly rectified by the very kind man who was our contact during our stay. We will be back, thank you."

"Arrived early and the lady on reception arranged for our room to be made up to allow us to check in, above and beyond service. Lovely room and we were lucky to have air con on the hottest day of the year. Bar area nice we didn't eat so can't rate the food. Only slight niggle was there was no outside area to enjoy the sun"
