"This property is close to the train station and a short walk to the Christmas Village. Our Rm#3 Terrace was large and airy. Nice to have space to spread out and relax. The breakfast was continental with a coffee machine that made all types. The proprietor was always around but we did not find her to be friendly or an engaging hostess. We would recommend! "

"Set in an isolated location in the Black Forest, this Guest House was one of the best we had ever stayed in. Yes, you need a car to find it, but its worth it. On arrival, the car park was full by locals who were using the restuarant that had an excellent reputation. Greeted by the owner who showed us to our room. It was very large and had a seating area and bedroom. The only critism I have was that there was no kettle, coffee etc. Would I recommend this Guest House, most definately."

"My second time staying at this property. Very spacious throughout and most rooms have a balcony/terrace. Room is traditional German finish with dated toilet fittings which are fully functional. Breakfast is continental with fresh brew coffee and freshly prepared eggs as additional options. Nice hillside location with views across the village and valley beyond. Staff very helpful as I was late arriving but key was waiting for me as I was a returning customer."

She kept apologising for her English… but we had no problem she was very easy to understand and told us so much about the local area. She went above and beyond with us.
