This home is an absolute gem! Impeccably clean throughout. Very well equpped with the little things you would often wish you had remembered to bring (wax paper, plastic wrap, zip lock bags, aluminum foil) and everything you would expect. Abundant linens, comfortable accommodationis, toys and books for the toddlers (we were there with one of our daughter's family with two young boys), very attractive decor (somewhat ecclectic, old fashioned, and very enjoyable). Everything throughout the house is in excellent condition - nothing looks worn, scuffed, or in need of repairs.The host couple is the absolute best! Two things went wrong the first evening of our arrival, both totally beyond the control of the hosts. First, the microwave broke (they brought a new one the next morning). Second, the air conditioner stopped working, making the home very uncomfortable. They came out to look at it that evening and tried several "emergency 24 hour repair" places to no avail. They were back the next morning with their AC repairman, and brought in four new fans to help make us comfortable. Later, they came back and installed a new "portable" AC to help bring down the temperature in case the AC didn't get fixed. They had a repairman out once or twice more, and finally got it going. Their concern for our confort and satisfaction was incredible, and they want every one of their renters to feel that they have gotten nothing but the best service. If we are ever to the area, this is #1 choice.
