"We had the loveliest stay at Montgomery Inn! My husband and I eloped at Cape Tryon Lighthouse just down the road and our family stayed with us at Montgomery Inn for a few days around the wedding. We had a tea party the day before the wedding in the dining room and a family dinner outside the Inn following the ceremony. It was absolutely perfect for us and had everything we could have needed. All but two of the bedrooms have an ensuite bathroom and the other two bedrooms share a full bathroom, with an additional powder room downstairs, which was very much appreciated with everyone getting ready for the wedding. The rooms are beautifully and thoughtfully decorated with period furniture and decor--it feels a bit like staying in a museum (though still very comfortable and not stuffy)! The kitchen is very well-stocked for baking (cake pans, mixing bowls, measuring cups, hand mixer, etc) and entertaining--with everyday dishes and several full sets of china dishes, teapots and teacups, as well as table linens and lace runners. If you are thinking of hosting an event here, I would highly recommend it! The area is beautiful, just a short walk from the coast, with views of the sea and the Lake of Shining Waters (Campbell Pond). The front porch was a lovely place to sit and enjoy the colorful sunsets and take in the surroundings. The perfect place to stay for Anne of Green Gables fans and history lovers, as well as those who just appreciate beautiful surroundings. Lauralee was helpful and communicative before our stay and Paul was great during the stay--checking in on us a couple times in person and answering the phone right away to accommodate a special request. Cannot recommend enough!"

"Fantastic home on the water! We will hope to return again very soon. They have thought about so many fun things to do with your family while visiting. The view is incredible, location is very quiet, and its simply perfect! This is coming from a person with over 35 years in the tourism accommodation business. If your looking for 5 star as we do, well then you have found it here. Enjoy!"

"Super cute cottage in French River, had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Was a great location for us to explore the central area of PEI. Weather was not warm enough to enjoy the fire pit outside but maybe on another trip. Would definitely recommend!"

"The cottage was cute, and functional. The only thing I would recommend is to have a mat inside the door, as it was wet and rainy, and we tracked that into the cottage, as there was no way to wipe it off on the outside mat."
