Being able to wander out to the pool or lounge on the covered porch or walk down to snorkel across the street was divine. The kitchen had all we need. "This is an excellent property. Lovely accommodations, a beautiful swimming pool, vistas, a private path to Leroux Beach, fully equipped kitchen, and very quiet. The sound of the ocean waves are soothing. The hostess Aude was exceptionally helpful from answering questions to referring us find William, Pelican Safari Tours, who provided transfers,tours, and friendship. "The owner was conscious of our needs. He immediately ushered us in, told us to make ourselves home and that he would be back to answer and questions. The home can accommodate 9! Plenty of space! Beautiful grounds, a pool to yourself and 3-20 mins to the beach of your choice! Grocery is 2km away! The ambiance the owner provides and his story is c’est magnifique! When we were there we were 100m from the filming of Death in Paradise a Netflix filming! St Rose has many a street vendor."

"The property is in a lively spot but at the top of a steep ramp. Some of the paintwork around the doors would do with a touch up but the kitchen is fairly modern and well equipped. A teapot for English visitors would be appreciated. :-) Notes on recycling and bin days would have been helpful although Laetitia did mention it. Having something written down would have helped. Fresh sheets and towels after the first week of a two week stay should have been standard (we had to ask for them). Lovely...

"We enjoyed a relaxing stay at Villa Rubis. The view is excellent, and the villa is modern and well appointed. Air conditioning in the 2 bedrooms worked very well and there is a washing machine but no dishwasher. WiFi is slow. The villa was presented clean. The pool is large for this type of rental. "The villa was just as described online. A lovely space in a tranquil setting with a great view. Our hostess couldn't have been better. She brought beverages and breakfast due to our late arrival and recommended a day trip to a botanical garden which we enjoyed. We appreciated the cleanliness and would highly recommend the villa to others."

"We (two families of 9) had an incredible 2 weeks stay. The owners, Helene and Pascal, could not have been nicer or more helpful (they were in a small bungalow next door so available if needed but never in the way). We used the outdoor kitchen exclusively and lived around the pool or in the ocean. The floating dock and last section of stairs had been ripped out by a storm, but a temporary ladder was available and worked fine, although we did miss the floating dock. Its about a 25 minute drive...

"My husband and I and our infant son spent 8 days here and really enjoyed ourselves. The little surf beach that is a very short 2 minute walk was a lovely place to walk in the mornings or just sit with your coffee (Fyi: the surf was rough at this beach so I would not recommend swimming here with small children).
