Wander Inn at Red River Gorge*Hot Tub*No Pet Fee!*

Summary:
Cheerful cabin located near Red River Gorge, Daniel Boone National Forest, and Cave Run Lake. Just a beautiful 30-45 minute drive from everything this area has to offer!

This cabin is ready to entertain with a fire pit, smart TV, charcoal grill, indoor/outdoor games, and a large back deck that overlooks the wooded lot (and Daniel Boone National Forest!). The sun sets directly in the back of the home, so the back balcony is the perfect place to watch the sun set with friends or family.

The Space:
2 bedroom 2 bathroom home with laundry, kitchen, pantry, living room, large deck/balcony, fire pit, hammock, and grill area. Cozy and relaxing! The perfect spot to wind down after a long hike, climb, or day on the lake.

*Can sleep up to 8 people with the sleeper sofa* Let the host know if you want to utilize this.

Our virtual walkthrough can be found on our Fbook Page @WanderInnatRedRiverGorge

Guest Access:
All areas of the home are accessible to guests except the utility cabinet on the back porch and the one car garage below the home.

The Neighborhood:
Quiet neighborhood. Not much traffic on the road out front, if any. We are the first cabin built on this street, so it is nice and private! The rest of the neighborhood is beautiful and offers a couple pretty views of the Gorge cliffs - for those wanting to explore.

Getting Around:
There is a large gravel parking lot in front of the home. You are also welcome to park on the sides of the street out front.

Other Things to Note:
Guests are responsible for bringing their own firewood for the fire pit, laundry detergent, and charcoal for the grill.

Cabin was excellent! But way out in the sticks. If you want peace and quiet and not going to leave the cabin then this is it! If you like restaurants they are at least 50 minutes away.

Clean, private, relaxing
We stayed at this place for 2 nights. It was very clean, very private for the most part and relaxing with the fire pit and tub. I wish there was a full length mirror somewhere in the house to make it easier to get ready and I wish there would’ve been more towels but those are just my personal preferences. Otherwise I enjoyed my stayed as the beds were super comfy as well. I wish I would’ve booked longer to enjoy it more.

Getaway
Planned a trip to getaway with our kids and a few family members. We had a wondeful stay! The cabin was very clean and pretty! The kids loved the bunkbeds, hot tub, and all the games that were available to play. We went on 2 hikes and was glad for the recommendation to download the Alltrails app. We wanted to rent a boat on Cave Run Lake, but unfortunately all boats were already rented out. (Would recommend to book with marina way in advance if you are planning on renting a boat). We ended up going to Grayson Lake instead, which we are familiar with, but was a very long feeling 1.5 hour drive away. Overall we had a great stay, and would love to stay here again of in the area.

A long drive to get to it from the nearest road (15 min). Great place if you want to take a step away and be alone. In a dry county and nearest alcohol is 40 minutes away. Not a deal breaker, just letting you know so you can come prepared if you enjoy a drink on the back deck or around the fire to relax. Great place with all the amenities. Left our lighter behind for next guests. Happy stays ahead 😁

Perfect rental!
We loved our stay at this property. It’s new and very clean. The setting is beautiful, very secluded with just one house within view. We loved the back deck with hot tub as well as the fire pit area in the front driveway. The owner’s communication was excellent. You can tell that the hosts want to make your stay pleasant. We loved all the extra amenities like the indoor and outdoor games, coffee pods, and extra blankets and pillows. As other reviews have noted, this property is 45-60 minutes from the Natural Bridge area attractions. We felt like the beautiful setting and nice house outweighed the long drive, but just wanted to mention it to help with expectations. We had a great vacation at Wander Inn and will definitely book again if we return to the area!
