Bummer our Sequoia day was a winter storm, but the house have a cozy living room for movies and popcorn and we were able to buy a boxed cake mix and make the most of it. My bigger kids loved the room so far away from us, haha and the enclosed patio was devine. I'd come back when we try to see Sequoia again, just for the patio and stream access
We had an amazing stay at the bank of kaweah river in the backyard of this property. My friends and family enjoyed a lot and we will definitely want to come again next year.
Everything about this place was perfect for our little getaway. The house was super clean and the area was so peaceful. Sequoia is super close by which made our trip less stressful. Definitely would stay here again!
Minh was a wonderful attentive host and the property is clean and complete with everything you need for a quiet and restful time. The streams provide a tranquil atmosphere and everything is closeby.
We enjoyed our stay at this lovely home . This home was perfect for our family vacation. The home is cozy, clean, and well equipped. We really enjoyed the screened in porch and the whole home. The landscape at the home is beautiful.
We loved our stay at the fairy house! It was beautiful, clean and just what we needed for a family getaway. The kids loved the big grassy area in the backyard and we loved the beauty of the property! We hope to return one day.
We loved the quiet and peace of this house. The sound of the river was delightful and the mountain views were outstanding. Our hosts were great to work with and the house was clean and well cared for. It was a great place to finish our California trip. Close to Sequoia National Park and just a very nice place to stay with family.
This rental was fantastic! Close location to Sequoia NP, loved the river in the back yard, really spacious home, and the host does an AMAZING job stockig the house with everything you will need from toiletries to kitchen to laundry. Highly recommend!! Thanks for a great stay!
Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The setting is tranquil as it abuts a small river. The beds we’re comfortable. We enjoyed the screened in porch and hammock. It is close to Sequoia National Park. Highly recommend.
The house was so cute! We loved the screened in porch, enjoying the beautiful river and the lovely sound of the river. It was so relaxing. The house was well stocked. We enjoyed our stay very much.
Beautiful and close to all the best 3 rivers spots, convenient to Sequoia
This was a truly beautiful property with a great location! My kids enjoyed the fantastically maintained grounds as well as the natural beauty of the creek.
As noted, reception is spotty through here but the WiFi works great. Make sure you have your information ready before you arrive.
We really enjoyed this house. The property was absolutely beautiful. We spent every evening sitting out back listening to the river and watching our kids play in the yard. The town was quaint and fun, very close proximity to Sequoia National Park. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen fully stocked. Would stay here again next time we make it back this way.
We visited this sweet quite home with the family. We had a great time. It was welcoming after a long drive back from Sequoia National Park. The place was clean, yet had a strong smell of cleaning agents. Take note of you
It was a wonderful experience, after traveling and a couple of hotel stays with five children. Everyone breathed a sigh of relief to be at the Fairy Stone house. It was clean, stocked with basic items that was so helpful. The beds were so comfortable, the air conditioning was perfect. The neighborhood was quiet, we felt very safe at the house and just peacefilled our hearts when we entered. Truly a blessed place, highly recommend!
Our family of 6 found this property perfect for our needs. Kids/teens ages 17, 14, 11, and 8 had plenty of space to relax and everyone had their own bed. The location was very convenient to Sequoia NP where we spent most of our time. The grocery store was only a 5 minute drive and had everything you could need. The house was clean and comfortable with everything we needed to make dinners at home since there aren’t a lot of options to dine out. The river out back was beautiful in the early summer. A true hidden gem!
My husband and I along with my sister and college age son stayed at this property near Sequoia National Park. The home had plenty of room and a nice outdoor setting although we spent very little time outside because temps were 100 degrees in early June. The beds were comfortable and clean. The kitchen had many items stocked, but some things were a little beat up and the pots and pans cabinets were unorganized. During our stay there was an area wide power outage. Without power we had no lights, air conditioning, no running water, and no communication since there is no cell signal and the wifi was also out during loss of power. The power was out about 14 hours. This is definitely not the home owners fault, but also something that could affect someone who stays there when there’s a power outage. There was no apparent reason why the town lost power. We very much enjoyed out time in Sequoia NP and Kings Canyon NP (where it was cooler at higher elevations). The location was very convenient to the parks.
Lovely stay, beautiful setting, and a polite, communicative owner. This listing was definitely as advertised, which may not sound like high praise, but it is intended as such. In this era of online listings, it's increasingly hard to feel confident you'll get what you see. But in this case, we felt like the property might even have undersold itself slightly. The pictures don't really do it justice. The reality of staying in Three Rivers is that it's a bit of a haul into the most famous areas of Sequoia National Park (the park entrance itself isn't far, but then you have to drive a good distance in to the most famous groves), but that's not specific to this property. And with this home, we felt the property itself was really deeply peaceful and connected to nature. The kids had as much fun around the house as they did in the park, and we loved Sequoia. The kitchen and bathrooms are slightly dated in terms of decor, but both are clearly kept up thoughtfully and with pride, and that is extremely important. This is not some vacation rental being cashed in on by a big company, but a home truly being cared for. It was even festively decorated for the holidays. Highly recommend.
Our family of five enjoyed our stay at the Fairy Stream's House. It was close to Sequoia/King's Canyon and provided us with everything we needed to have a safe and quiet place to return after long days exploring. The backyard was relaxing for sitting and reading and our daughter enjoyed a night sleeping in the hammock in the screened-in porch. Thanks for the nice stay!
