Absolutely loved it there, everything refurbished and new and cosy, sehr gemütlich. Nice big bathroom and comfy beds. Very friendly hosts, directly in the town centre with shops and lovely restaurants around. Breakfast was absolutely amazing, fresh local products and a huge choice to choose from. Next time I have to go to Freudenstadt I will definitely be back. Everything only positive. There was shower gel and hand wash provided in the bathroom (only thing I missed was hair shampoo).

Good location but not much happening
Hotel was very central, very 90s design, scratchy towels, but really clean spacious room and a great breakfast with nice reception staff. Pillows were woefully thin.

Grossly over priced for what it is. Room very basic, albeit large. Essentially a 'no frills' place. Unfriendly at breakfast, but reasonable selection of food. Would definitely not stay at the Krone again.

Excellent hotel and idealbase for exploring the ar
Excellent hotel. The Krone has been recently renovated - the standard of decoration throughout is excellent, and the whole hotel is spotlessly clean. My room was a twin bed and was big enough - the bathroom was a reasonable size and was a good standard (marble). The view over the town (3rd floor) was good, and the double-glazed tilt and turn windows cut out all traffic noise. There is a lift to all floors. The buffet breakfast was comprehensive and all that was needed for a day of hill walking. The staff were very friendly, offering advice on local events etc. The area around Freudenstaft is very scenic (pine trees, lakes and crystal clear streams) making this an deal base for exploring the area.

Great location, delicious breakfast
Central location overlooking the square. No hotel parking but cheap on street parking behind the hotel and an underground car park on the square (but with 2.1 m height limit, for anyone else with a camper/ Motorhome). Very pleasant friendly staff and a lovely buffet breakfast with plenty of fresh food. Old style building with what look to be newly refurbished rooms that are very clean and comfortable,

We had a room on the top floor, which had only a small window outside; because of the warm weather, this was not really ideal for getting cooler air inside during the night. The room was big enough and clean. Breakfast was more than sufficient, however some bacon or sausages to go with the egss would have been a nice extra! Location is perfect for visiting the Black Forest and also the city center of Freudenstadt.

Sehr gutes Inhabergeführtes Hotel im Stadtzentrum
Sehr gutes Hotel inmitten der Stadt. Hatte leider das Zimmer zur Hauptstrasse, deshalb mit nachts Fenster öffnen ist nicht so gut. Schallisolierte Fenster - deshalb kein Problem. Besser Zimmer zum Marktplatz. Parken vor dem Haus nur 20' aber Parkhaus (billiger) nur 150m. Frühstück war hervorragend. Viele Restaurants im Umkreis. zentrale Lage

Booked the room at at around 22 o'clock. As I managed to get to the hotel at around midnight and dialed the emergency number written on the entrance door. The lady-owner has answered saying that all the guests have already arrived and it is my problem that I am standing outside without being able to enter the room I have booked. Horrible attitude to customers. Never again.

You have booked a room after 22:00h although in the website and in your booking confirmation you can see that the reception closes at 21:00h. Furthermore you wanted to check in the night at 1:30h, found out that our house is closed at this time and got us out of bed by phone. Therefore, I believe that the mistake is clearly on your side. In future, you should check this more closely when making your bookings and adhere to the rules. These rules also apply to you. Finally, all I can say is that your assessment is incorrect.

Ein sehr schönes familier geführtes Hotel. Zimmer tip Top, ruhig. Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück war auch super. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt.

Freudenstadt ligger ideelt for Schwartswald.
Fantastisk beliggenhed i hjørnet af det store torv. God underjordisk parkering lige i nærheden. Husk at bruge det gratis rejsekort til tog og bus. God morgenmads buffet.

Nettes Hotel direkt an der Fussgängerzone
Leider waren während unseres Aufenthaltes direkt vor dem Hotel die Strassensanierungen im Gang. (viel Lärm)

Sehr geehrter Herr Petzer, vielen Dank das sie sich die Zeit genommen haben für uns eine Bewertung zu hinterlassen. Es freut uns sehr , dass diese sehr positiv ausgefallen ist. Der Baustellenlärm ist nun vorbei, da die Arbeiten bei uns vor dem Haus abgeschlossen sind . Noch ein Hinweis für ihren nächsten Besuch bei uns. Es gibt vergünstigte Parktikets in der gegenüberliegenden Marktgarage, so kosten ab 2 Tage 4,50€ pro Tag und ab dem 3. Tag nur noch 3,50€, lediglich wer nur einen Tag bleibt zahlt die Tagessumme für 24 Std. von 8,00€. Übrigens, die meisten Hotels die über egene Parkplätze verfügen verlangen da oftmals ein vielfaches mehr. Also, beim nächsten Mal einfach etwas länger bleiben, es lohnt sich, denn bei uns und in der Umgebung gibt es viel schönes zu entdecken. Mfg.Hotel KRONE

La habitación era muy pequeña e incómoda , casi no los podíamos cambiar porque la cabeza nos tocaba en el techo Esta muy bien ubicado, cerca de todo lo importante

Estimado Daniel, no entiende como es posible en una habiacion normal de 18m2 tocar la cabeca. Usted han pedido una habitacion estandard, nada mas, perro para la proxima tenemos habitaciones mas grandes, pero usted tienen que pedir y pagar.. Saludos de Hotel KRONE.

schönes Hotel in zentraler Lage
Sehr ordentliches Hotel in zentraler Lage und dennoch recht ruhig. Prima Service und ausgezeichnetes Frühstück. Zimmer etwas klein unter dem Dach aber sehr sauber und zweckmäßig eigerichtet. Für längeren Aufenthalt wäre größerer Kleiderschrank wünschenswert.

Hotel com quarto confortável e ótimo atendimento. Café da manhã muito bom. Local central, bem na Marketplatz, com muitos restaurantes e comércio. Não possui estacionamento, mas existe um local pago a 100m do hotel.

Direktem Marktplatz gelegen.
Hatten ganz spontan das Zimmer gebucht. Wir wurden freundlich empfangen. Bekamen eine tolle Empfehlung für das Abendessen. Großes Lob. Kommen gerne wieder.

Equipment is clean and new. This hotel is located by the town market, but the room is quiet. Staffs are friendly!
