"Super cute inn. This place was fantastic. We loved the breakfast - fresh fruit and made to order breakfast. The common area was lovely and allowed our family to play games and hang out in the evenings. We even used the kitchen one night to cook dinner and this was a great option. The staff were super helpful and friendly. "

"The rooms were clean and comfortable. The food was excellent and a good variety. But the highlight was the staff. They made you feel like part of their family, made recommendations of things to do, and were interested in your story. In our two week trip to Costa Rica, this will be a repeat visit. "

"We appreciated the location of this property which was within close proximity to the places we wanted to visit. There is a couple coffee shops and a souvenir store next door. The breakfast was cooked fresh to order and served between 6:30 am and 8:30am. There are 3 choices; pancakes, traditional and American with a small plate of fresh fruit and coffee, tea or juice. The neighbours have a lot of dogs and they make a huge racket (barking and howling) but we heard nothing after about 8pm and it didn’t start up again until 8am. The walking trail on the property was more extensive than we thought. The room was very spacious and comfortable. We were provided plenty of towels and the kitchenette was well equipped. We really enjoyed the wildlife, cats and dog on the property. The highlight of our stay was the helpful staff members who helped us plan our excursions and served us breakfast. "

"This is a beautiful and very thoughtful hotel in Monteverde. The rooms are well laid out and each has an incredible view of the Nicoya Peninsula in the distance. The balcony was amazing. The vibe of the hotel, its property and the area in general are very relaxing and peaceful. The staff are incredible and make the place so inviting. Breakfasts are included and delicious. We had all three of our dinners at the hotel and were pleased with the taste and variety. The jacuzzi is delightful. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for an upscale but not overly expensive (that's all relative today) stay in Monteverde."

"Our room was at the top of the hill which was a great view, but no soundproofing. It was loud. The towels and the shampoo/body wash were subpar. We had a car so did not have to rely on the shuttle but a shuttle is provided. We did the night walk which was fun but way too long. An hour would have been plenty. "

"This is a fabulous property, rooms are well appointed and clean with great views. The grounds are incredible, we saw more wildlife around the grounds of the property than at the national park. Highly recommend the restaurant, the views and the food are great. "

"Excellent communication from host. This lovely cottage in the forest was quiet and peaceful. Very spacious and clean. Forest animals and lots of nice birds are entertaining. This is a family friendly facility. Very close to Monteverde Reserve & Curi-Cancha Reserve and other excellent places for hiking in the forest and seeing wildlife. It is adjacent to the Friends school and with in walking distance of famous Stella's bakery and cafe and the cheese factory. Everything was in good condition. Interesting use of beautiful tropical woods. A vehicle is recommended / 4x4 not necessary in the dry season. Supermarkets in Santa Elena, 10 minutes away well stocked . Wifi reliable and fast. "
