Peace, quiet and excellent views!



This lovely cottage is perched on a hillside, northwest of Frigiliana (3.5 km). From the veranda, you will enjoy superb views across the surrounding landscape out to the Mediterranean. An authentic hideaway for those who are looking for a peaceful location with the beaches of Nerja at a 15 minutes’ drive. Inside, comfortable furnishing awaits with all rooms on one floor.







Location and outside area



The town of Frigiliana, with numerous restaurants, bars and craft shops, is within a short 5-minute drive, yet you also have all the joys of living in tranquility with your own pool (7x3,5 m) available all year round and a splendid sunny terrace with sun loungers. The cottage is surrounded by terraces offering magnificent views in all directions, the most impressive out to the sea from the front veranda overlooking the pool. Next to the house is a barbecue area including a natural stone-made oven, the type used by the locals to prepare the typical cochenillo segoviano (sucking pig). Of course you can also use it to make your own favourite pizzas, and you can enjoy them alfresco in the dining corner next to the barbecue area. If you so desire to dip into the ocean, the beaches of Nerja are only 7.5 km away. You can also enjoy the excellent paellas at Burriana beach.







Inside and layout



All the rooms of the villa are on one floor and decorated in a rustic country-style with all the facilities you need for your holiday. The cosy living room offers a 3-seater sofa, an armchair, a wood-burning stove, satellite TV and a dining corner for 6 persons. The open-plan kitchen is equipped with a ceramic hob, an oven, a microwave, a refrigerator/freezer and a washing machine. There is one double and one twin bedroom, both sharing a full bathroom with a bath with an overhead shower, WC and bidet.

Wonderful Location

A truely lovely property. It is private and peaceful with wonderful views in all directions. Good pool and nice garden surrounds. Fully equiped but cutlery could do with an update. The bed was extremely comfortable. Carlos and his son were very helpful.

Lovely rustic villa with fabulous views! Spacious, quiet and private. If a chilly spell the wood burner soon warms up the place. Plenty of hot water and a great shower. The road for the last few miles takes a bit of getting used to (we didn’t venture out at night). The beautiful village of Frigiliana is only a 15 min drive away.

What a wonderful spot.

This was without doubt the most relaxing villa to recharge the batteries, the views were spectacular and the garden a real treasure with so many different seating areas to enjoy both the sun and the shade. The only suggestions we would have to improve the overall enjoyment would be the provision of better cushions for the outdoor seating and my wife (as would most) would have appreciated a full length mirror in one of the bedrooms but that is really nit picking. Ik hou van privacy en die is hier optimaal. De rust is groot en het landschap is prachtig. Eigenaar Carlos onderhoudt alles prima en is ook snel beschikbaar wanneer nodig. Ik zou graag een houtskool-snelstarter en een bbq-tang toegevoegd zien aan de inventaris. De keukeninventaris zie ik graag twee platte spatels toegevoegd.

Sehr schöner Garten, super Pool. Etwas außerhalb des Ortes, muss man mögen. Die Einrichtung der Küche ist allerdings etwas angejahrt und sollte mal erneuert werden (Ofen). Auch die Betten sind etwas zu weich. Aber ansonsten alles super

Super freundlich und sauber

Die Wohnung ist gemütlich eingerichtet wie auf den Fotos zu sehen. Der Vermieter ist sehr nett. Er kam 1x in der Woche die Aussenanlage säubern. Wer an diesem ruhigen Ort sich nicht entspannen kann, ist es selber schuld. Wir haben unsere Energie voll aufgetankt.

Muy buenas vacaciones ! Mas à la hauteur de la description faite sur le site. Panorama magnifique depuis la terrasse principale ! Très bon séjour où toutes les conditions sanitaires étaient réunies pour nous faire passer de belles vacances malgré cette période Covid. De très jolis quartiers à voir sur Frigiliana. Fantastisk utsikt

Huset ligger fantastiskt med härlig utsikt, perfekt för en skön och avkopplande vistelse. Många mysiga uteplatser att välja I trädgården och en fräsch pool att ta ett dopp i. Dock var sängarna rätt obekväma I sovrummet med två sängar. Påfyllningen i toastolen efter spolning tog lång tId och ljudet irriterande högt ( hördes väl nattetid)

Fantastic house in the mountains, a ten minutes drive from Frigiliana. Really amazing location - even better than on the pictures! The pool was nice and clean and our kids had a great time bathing and exploring the exotic garden. The road that goes to the house is a bit dodgy the last 2 or 3 kilometers, so it's best if you're a skilled driver.

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in der Villa Frigiliana und haben vor allem das großzügige Grundstück mit dem tollen Garten voller Blumen, dem Ausblick auf Frigiliana, das Meer und die Berge sowie den Pool sehr genossen. Überall um die Villa herum hat es Sitzplätze zum Verweilen z.B. unter dem Schatten von Avocadobäumen. Wenn die Sonne scheint, dann hat man von morgens bis abends Sonne auf der Terrasse! Wir können die Villa sehr empfehlen, ein Auto ist notwendig.

We were really surprised at just how good this was! The garden has so many seating areas and fruit trees, and has panoramic views of Frigiliana, Nerja, the sea and the green valley. It was private and very quiet. It's a 5-10 minute drive to Frigiliana, all on tarmac, so no trouble at all. The inside was immaculately clean, and it's clear that the owners take great pride in the cottage, and have put so much love into it. The pool is so clear and fresh. It's far better than it looks in the photos, and all thoughtfully decorated in rustic style. We had the best holiday here, and I can't recommend it highly enough. We met the owners, and they were so kind and hospitable- a lovely family!

Nice little cortijo - peaceful and comfortable

It was very nice, in the hills across from Frigiliana. Surrounded by bucolic beauty, avocado, lemon, olive trees. Peaceful environment, great to read. Roads are a bit narrow to get there but apps work well. House was clean and the owner is helpful (speaks Spanish). I enjoyed staying there and the quiet. Gets windy at night so door and shutters make some noise but you get used to it.

Nous avons beaucoup aimé les terrasses à l’extérieur et la proximité de la mer tout en étant tranquille. La situation de la maison est top. Mer, balades, visites : tout y est. Très bel environnement, à proximité de tout. À prendre en compte que l’accès est par une route pentue et parfois étroite. On recommande le bar restaurant El Acebuchal, cuisine du terroir dans un cadre très joli.
