Had a lovely couple weeks in Frisco. The property was totally as advertised and my dog and I had a great time. If you are looking to ski, this is perfect.

We'd love to book again for next year. GREAT paved hiking trail behind the unit, leading to a network of trails that were terrific!

The location of this property is absolutely perfect, tucked away right next to the mountains! The size of the property was perfect for my husband and I, our dog, and 4 month old. Unfortunately the main heater to the home does not work and the owners did not respond when contacted so we used space heaters for the duration of our stay. The humidifier in the home also did not work. The shovel was broken which made keeping the stairs outside clear on a particularly snowy weekend very difficult. The ski bar to the tv also appeared broken and was missing the proper cords.

This cozy cabin was fantastic and exactly what we were hoping for! Cannot say enough good things about the location, neighborhood, and neighbors. For transparency, communication with Vacasa was a bit of a challenge (response time & possibly language barrier) but everything worked out in the end! Would 100% stay here again.

Old School Charm, no fluff, the way a trip to the mountains was when I was as a kid, and still our preferred method!

Chilly night with space heaters and blankets as we couldn’t get fireplace to heat up. Property management company handling listing was difficult.

Driveway and sidewalk not plowed./shoveled when we arrived. Only heat is gas stove and space heaters. Attempted to get stove working per instructions-which highlight to NOT change any of stove settings. Called Vacasa property management, they blamed us for heat not working, suggested we use space heaters ( so you know this is a known problem). Claimed they need to hear from local maintenance staff before they could do anything. They refused to move us or refund us. We spent the first night with heat only from space heaters (cabin had 6, only 3 worked. Spent all the first night and second day on phone with Vacasa before they finally sent someone out. Maintenance staff got stove working- batteries dead and his instructions completely contradicted posted instructions. Stove only partially fixed as never connected to thermostat so either heat on and very warm or heat off and cold. We left a day early as finally fed up. Vacasa unwilling to refund us for the night with no heat and again basically blamed us for stove not working. Feel bad for owner in giving such a bad review and fault is entirely on Vacasa! Never again Vacasa!!

Wonderful location with trails out the back and a short walk to the main street, perfect place to bring our pup for a peaceful, mountain getaway. We love that a rustic cabin still exists in the midst of so much building! We'll be back:)

Ideal spot for a pet-friendly Frisco stay! Few blocks off main street and a quick drive to all the nearby ski resorts. The cabin was well-appointed, clean, and comfortable. Plenty of bedding, towels, basic toiletries, and kitchen needs. Great spot, would highly recommend and will hopefully return!

The cabin is situated steps away from the paved all-purpose path (for walkers and bicyclists) that connects Frisco to Breckenridge, Copper Mountain and Vail. It was especially nice being here in the midst of Fall's changing aspen leaves. Access to the hiking trails was literally right out the back door. And these trails, especially this time of year, are nothing short of awesome, with cathedral like groves of lodge pole pines and aspens reaching to the sky. The cabin itself was adequate, on the rugged side, nothing luxurious to be sure, though most of the accoutrements for cooking were present. My wife and I found it a very hands on type of place. We had to be a bit creative to find room to store food items as much of the cabinet space was taken up by a hodge-podge of what turned out to be unnecessary kitchen items. Beds were adequate and the place was fairly easy to keep warm with gas stove and various space heaters. TV and entertainment system worked well for the most part, though we didn't understand some of the features. Internet was adequate. In short it was a good little place to spend a few days within easy walking distance of main street, Frisco. Had it not been so well located I would have considered it a bit on the pricey side. That said I highly recommend it. This was my second stay here and I will definitely consider a third.

If I could give this location zero stars I would. There were holes in the walls, it smelled like a sewer, there was fabric paneling that was covering unfinished walls. We left and were only given half of what we paid back, even though the location was misrepresented in photos. I will never book through VRBO or vacasa again. The customer service was terrible, but when the local staff was informed of the situation they all but admitted the location was known to be unacceptable.

The home did not have hot water, the tv had issues connecting, and I needed to set up the heater myself. The first night I was there a bear got into the trash can outside, which was still full from the previous travelers. The lack of communication was completely unprofessional and rather than enjoying my time on vacation I wasted it calling, texting, and messaging with the VRBO app from 11 pm the first night of check-in until 3 pm my last full day of visiting to get these issues taken care of. My mom and I were finally able to shower at 7 pm on the night of our last stay.

This is a +/- 600 sq ft one room cabin. Storage is minimal with no place to hang clothes, just cubby holes for clothes. No laundry, dishwasher, fine furnishings, etc. If you plan on more than two people you better be good friends, because there is no privacy.
On the other hand, the location is great. Walking distance to Main Street of Frisco with numerous restaurants and shops. Right next to the excellent bike path, and only a couple minutes from access to I-70..
If you are planning a vacation with all the amenities and conveniences then this is not for you. If you are willing to rough it a little then this might be for you. As an aside, the property management company, Vacasa, was very disappointing

Overall, this property is GREAT! I enjoyed my stay with my pup. It was the perfect little escape. Lots of great places on Main Street in Frisco and quick, straight drive up to Breckenridge.
-the thermostat wasn't working. I set the temperature in the 60s, but it was getting up to 86 in the room. It was awful trying to sleep. I had to use the fan to get some air flow. I texted in to the owner and he told me to switch out the batteries (there was no screwdriver to do so) and that he would come the following day - but I never heard from him the following day.
-I couldn't find a shovel to move snow out of my walk path

The cabin is okay, basic accommodation, location is fairly quiet and near Frisco's Main St restaurants and easy access to I-70.
Kitchen accessories are adequate, the TV and internet are decent. Heat source is one gas stove and space heaters - uneven heat throughout cabin.
Our experience with Vacasa (rental agency) was AWFUL.
We arrived at the cabin in single-degree temps to find unmade beds, no clean sheets, used bath towels, dirty floors and counters etc - i.e. NO HOUSEKEEPING.
We spoke with a non-local Vacasa rep and requested housekeeping or an alternate rental nearby. The rep said she would contact the local Vacasa and report back within 60 minutes. We received NO return call.
Two hours later (pitch black and even colder) we returned to a dark rental (no porch light, no snow removal from the deck or driveway) to find minimal housekeeping (at least we had clean sheets and towels).
We again called Vacasa and requested a minimal $50 refund/credit but that we would really appreciate a FULL REFUND on HOUSEKEEPING. The rep said she had put in a request for that.
Three days after our stay we again contacted Vacasa. The rep had no update on our refund request but that Vacasa would contact us (no one has reached out to us).
More than a full week has now passed since our stay in Frisco and we have received no refund/credit or call.
Beware if you decide to use Vacasa. We will NOT be back.

This little cabin is in a perfect spot for hiking, biking, & everything else Summit County has to offer. It's right on a paved recreation trail that is part of a network of trails that connects Frisco to several other towns. Downtown, Dillon Reservoir, & hiking trailheads are within walking distance. We loved sitting on the deck in the evenings. There was a generous supply of shampoo/conditioner/soap, plenty of bath towels, & good hot water.
This property is run by a management company, not an individual, so it lacked the personal touch and attention to detail I've come to expect from VRBO rentals. The first thing I noticed after walking in was a dusty vacuum against the wall in the living area. There was a random filter (from the vacuum?) left on a shelf at the foot of the bed. A pack of outdoor lightbulbs was shoved under the bed but still visible. The blinds & shelves were dusty & the whole place had a cluttered, haphazard feel.
The first morning I discovered the coffeemaker carafe was broken. I called customer service & got a friendly representative who said a new one would be brought out. By the next morning it hadn't arrived, so I called again. Another friendly & apologetic person said he'd make sure we got a replacement. We never did, & I didn't bother to call a third time. We made do with instant coffee all week.
There was only one dish towel for a six night stay. The dish drainer was broken & didn't look clean. Aside from a whisk, the kitchen was stocked with everything I needed, but it was a disorganized mess, so I had to hunt for everything. I found plates above the sink under mixing bowls. There were enough pots & pans for 2-3 cabins. Some of the drawers & cabinets were crammed full of literal junk. We arrived on Sunday & I didn't find the fire extinguisher until Thursday. It was way at the back under the sink behind other things. The salt shaker was empty & there was no other salt to fill it. There was a box of sugar with about an inch left that was completely solidified. We used & enjoyed the vertical fan, but the filter on the back needed cleaned. A blanket I pulled out of a cubby was covered in dog hair.
None of these things are deal breakers & would be easy enough to fix with more conscientious management. Somebody just needs to completely clean out and organize the place. The location alone warrants 4 stars and I would even stay here again, but I'm listing all this here so the next VRBO guest knows what to expect.

Our stay turned out to be very nice. The location of the cabin is ideal, close to trails and close to Main Street. However, we thought the furnishing and the TV offerings were very basic. The Wi-Fi did not have enough bandwidth for the streaming choices on the TV. All in all, we spent a lot of money for for a property which could be updated.
