Love this house!
We have stayed her several times and we enjoy it every time. Very spacious well stocked kitchen. The views are amazing. I love the swing on the back porch and my grandkids love the little beach on the sound to play in. It a nice quiet neighborhood. They have have equipment downstairs that renters can use which is very nice (kayaks, boogie boards, Nets). We had a problem with hot tub making noise and not working properly and I texted that morning and they were out to fix it that afternoon. Very nice! We will definitely be back.

Location is awesome
I have stayed in a lot of vacation rentals in this area and this house is near the top with what it has to offer. The views of the sound and the sunsets are incredible. It is probably the most well stocked home I have stayed in. It has a drip coffee pot as well as a Keurig. It has a ninja blender The deck furniture is outstanding. There is a swing overlooking the sound pretty much everything in the house has recently been updated. The owner has kayaks, boogie boards, beach, chairs, etc. for you to use. This house is about a half mile from ramp 49. The bedroom upstairs is great for a family with one child as there is a king and a twin.. Super large bathroom. Great balcony overlooking the sound. I Would definitely rent this house again. Would definitely rent this house again

Perfect sound front home
This house was such an amazing get away. Would definitely stay here again. It was so peaceful to sit on the deck and enjoy the birds and the kite surfers. The sunsets were fantastic. We took the kayaks out almost every day except when it was too windy and a highlight was absolutely the rays in the bay. I saw close to 15 throughout the week and they were so much fun to kayak around. We drove onto the beach and went to Ocracoke for the day. Kids went parasailing in Hatteras. The location was perfect to be able to just relax at the house - with 2 teenagers and a preteen it was a great getaway before our oldest leaves for college. There was space to spread out and there was space to be together and to be together and separate. :) it was a very comfortable house with all of the things you could think to need. Thanks for sharing your house! It was a lovely exhale.

beautiful setting and house
The marsh and sound view was spectacular and the interior very comfortable, clean, nicely decorated, with many windows. We loved the hot tub. That end of the island is nice and low key and close to the Ocrakoke Ferry.
We loved the upstairs alcove as it was a very private space. The rest of the outside deck area was not as private/open to the neighbors but the alcove made up the difference.

Location!
This home has an expansive back yard perfect for setting up kites to kite board on the sound side.
There were three kayaks to our disposable, nice outdoor shower and hot tub (wish the temperature was a little hotter). The house has a well equipped kitchen, and comfortable beds.

Tranquil setting
A very clean, comfortable home to stay in with beautiful sunsets on the sound. Quiet, peaceful area.Well-stocked kitchen. Outdoor deck with dolphin-watching chairs were relaxing to sit in; those chairs would be wonderful on the upstairs master-suite deck. Hot tub was amazing.
Beautiful location on the sound. We found 2 kayaks and a canoe to explore the sound which was a great surprise. This property is owned by a local rental agency which I think is misleading. We had a few issues and reached out to them and did not hear back which was disappointing.

Cardinal Pt - a stay in paradise
Nice home with all one needs for a great stay anywhere. The home along with its surrounding forest, marsh and sound including a private sand beach and a boat launch is superb. Sunsets are literally ‘ to die for’. Quarter mile to pretty hood pizza; 1/2 mile to micro brewery with tasty beer and good food and 2 miles from public access to the ocean with miles of sand and surf.
I have stayed in the Frisco area every summer for the past twenty years and while I have stayed in more luxurious homes, I will come back to Cardinal Point because of the things I mentioned above.
Great job by the Hatteras Realty staff.

Had the potential to be much better then it was.
We really enjoyed the location and the views from the house, it was very nice looking out over the sound while sipping on a cup of coffee. However we were very disappointed to find out that the jets for the hottub didn't work. We contacted the staff hoping to get it resolved during out stay, but it was never addressed. Anytime me and my fiancee vacation we specifically only stay in places that have hottubs, so we wouldn't have stayed here if we had known it didn't work. Also the kitchen faucet was very loose and on the verge of falling off.

Peaceful, beautiful sunsets, very nice property
The Hatteras/Frisco area has been my vacation spot for over 50 years. Cardinal Point has some of the most beautiful sunsets! The house is very roomy and the kitchen is stocked with anything you could ever need! Very clean and well organized...my daughter and I even managed to get the canoe down to the canals and were successful in not tipping over! The only thing we had a problem with was having access to the beach (on the property) on several occasions...due to the next door rental folks having their kayaks spread all over for most of the day. This happened several times. So we packed up and headed to the public access going towards Hatteras Village. Several nights we had some awesome lightening storms that made the sound visible even into the late hours of darkness. Truly enjoyed our stay with the exception of the waterfront/beach issue!
We LOVED our stay at the cardinal point home. The home is well updated, extremely clean, and nicely laid out with plenty of seating throughout. One minor frustration that could have been easily alleviated with better details on your website or checkin packet is the very limited toiletries and kitchen supplies provided. A single small 2 oz shampoo is provided with small bar of soap in bathrooms, limited toilet paper provided, a single roll of paper towels, two garbage bags, two dishwasher pods and no kitchen condiments/salt/pepper/oil are available. This was totally inadequate for a 7 day stay. There is a grocery store nearby where we were able to go grab more supplies…. But it would have been nice to know prior to our checkin so we could pack or purchase them on our way in. Also linens/towels are provided but very limited. 6 total small body towels provided for 6 adults, a single kitchen towel, and no beach towels. Being directly on the water we had incorrectly assumed beach towels would be provided and had to purchase from a local gift shop. Again not a big deal but wish we knew ahead of time to try and squeeze some in our suitcases. Ok enough about the small shortcomings… the house is amazing. Upstairs master bedroom is beautiful. Loved the little desk for the few days I had to work and the upper patio was gorgeous for morning coffee. Comfortable beds throughout. The provided 2 kayaks and double canoe was perfect to explore the marsh and sound side. The sunsets were incredible every single night!!! Plenty of seating inside for meals, inside to relax, and outside on the porch! The hot tub was nice and hot- 104 we actually turned it down a bit but the jets didn’t seem to work (or didn’t work well) but we enjoyed it in the evenings under the stars. My husband kite boarded right from the backyard and it was perfect- grassy area to launch and land, plenty of hoses to wash of gear, etc. The private beach it be back is great for little kids- nice and sandy, shallow calm water, picnic table and umbrella. Overall exceeded our expectations- we will be back!!
