Whiskey Hill Cabin a Mountain escape in Virginia Wine country.

Whiskey Hill Cabin is based on a classic design from the 1960’s which makes it a unique place to enjoy your vacation! The cabin is a fully renovated chalet style cabin with many modern updates. Some of the updates include a new fireplace wood stove for guest use, pine and cedar ceilings, a new bathroom and honed granite countertops. All of these updates to this classic cabin help make your vacation more relaxing and enjoyable.

Some of the highlights include: Self Check in with your own custom lock code, Gas fire pit table, Real wood fireplace. High Speed internet/Wifi.

There are 2 bedrooms and a large loft bedroom (queen beds in each).
The cabin has a large deck that is perfect for enjoying the nature of the mountain. Since the cabin was designed in the 1960’s the interior steps were not designed with today’s standards, but we love the classic design so we decided to keep it original. We ask that you please keep in mind that the interior loft stairs are not suitable for children. We appreciate your understanding.

The cabin is in Virginia wine country. It is close to 10+ Virginia wineries including Fox Meadow Winery (3.4 mi) and Crimson Lane Vineyards (7.9 mi), Skyline drive and the Appalachian Trail (GR Thompson State Wildlife Management area is about 5 minutes away; famous for trillium flowers). Enjoy the areas many activities including: hiking, canoeing, horse back riding, wine tasting and the natural surroundings.

The cabin is located in the Blue Ridge Mountains and is set on a private wooded mountain lot with winter views of the Shenandoah Valley and mountain ranges. During your stay you will enjoy the peaceful quiet of the mountains, local wildlife, amazing sunsets and bright starry nights. Near Front Royal, VA it is an easy 1 hour drive to and from the DC metro area.

Our price is for 4 guests maximum. We charge more for Holidays and Holiday weekends.

A welcome gift and starter pack of essentials such as paper towels, toilet paper and soaps, etc. are provided for your stay. Any extra supplies will need to be purchased by guests.

Lovely cottage

We really enjoyed our stay. It’s a very cute little cottage, nicely decorated and extremely clean. Beautiful wooded and peaceful surroundings with some terrific vineyards near by. Highly recommend for a friends trip.

Lovely weekend stay

The cabin was wonderful. It was pristine, beautifully decorated and had all the amenities we could ask for. We needed to change our dates and the hosts were very responsive about adjusting them. Overall, a really wonderful, peaceful visit and we will definitely be back!

Amazing Property

Whisky Hill is an amazing cabin. My husband and I enjoyed our stay. Everything was clean, and had everything we needed. It was not difficult at all to find. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and can’t wait to be back. It was a great find!! Highly recommend if coming to the Linden area.

Cozy getaway!

My wife and I enjoyed staying in this cozy well kept cabin. We are from Pennsylvania and the beauty of the area along with the cabin was perfect. Everything was clean and neat in the cabin and we loved the bottle of wine they provided us with. We def recommend and will be back sometime in the fall or winter in the future. 5 stars all around

Cozy cabin in the woods

We had an excellent 4-night stay at Rachelle and Don's cabin. They were good communicators and eager to please. The cabin was clean, cozy and comfortable with a modern vibe. We loved how quiet it was. The large elevated deck overlooking the woods was great for enjoying our morning coffee and having dinner and a drink. It's close to local hiking and not far from a nice small town and Shenandoah National Park, etc. We would definitely recommended this cabin (and we'll be back).

A Quiet Couples V-Day & B-day Get-A-Way!

Overall rating & experience 4.5/5 Stars. Great owners who communicated very well and timely.This precious cabin is tucked in the Shenandoah mountains & is very quiet, clean and such a lovely place located by great local wineries and eateries with beautiful scenery & mountain views, The wood-burning stove was an added bonus. We all are very happy with our experience and time here(3 nights). This cabin is also very well furnished, new, very clean, and has all the necessities.We highly recommend it and it fits four people perfectly. :)

Girls Weekend Getaway

A few friends and I stayed in Whisky Hill Cabin and we are so glad we did! The cabin was clean, so well organized, provided all of the instructions necessary to make sure our stay was seamless. All of the amenities listed were there, the beds were very comfortable (minus the pillows- but I suggest you bring your own as everyone has a personal preference in terms of the firmness of the pillow). 5 star review all the way! Wish we would have stayed longer! The cabin is remote enough even though there are neighbors down and up the hill, still felt like we are secluded. Easy to find using the address the cabin is located on. Perfect stay! Can’t wait to come back again soon!

Nice quiet stay in a well-appointed cabin in the woods

Very clean and straightforward cabin in the woods. There is a neighbor nearby but that house is hardly visible with leaves on the trees. Nice deck with fire pit that worked well. Gas grill. Beds are very comfortable. Nice couch. Reliable Wi-Fi. Roku TV with just a few apps enabled, but it has ESPN and major streaming apps. Nice to have a DVD/Blu-ray player. Friendly hosts and no surprises. Would return in the future.
