Really enjoyed our stay and all the little touches - like labeled drawers and clear instructions. Very comfortable beds, pillows, and all the amenities you could want. Perfect for an uninterrupted girls weekend getaway.
This was our 3rd stay at this beautiful property, views are amazing ,beds super comfortable and the house is equipped with everything you could possibly need. If you are looking for a quiet property with all the amenities close to vineyards and other get things to do then I would highly recommend this property
The house was beautiful with a great view and location. The property was exactly as pictured (maybe even better in person!). The hot tub and ping pong table were a great addition to keep us busy. Thank you, we will definitely be back!
Even with the rain we had a great time! House was very comfortable with all the amenities anyone needs! Beds were extremely comfortable, kitchen well equipped and the bonus was dog friendly! I would definitely come back!
My friends and I had an amazing time at the house over New Years. They have a beautiful modern/renovated home nestled in the woods with a great view. We had fun in the game room basement and out by the fire. Would definitely book a stay here again!
Everything was perfect! Amenities were great and just as described! And the house was spotless! The game room was such a great hangout spot for everyone! Loved everything about it!! Thank you!!
Whitetail Sumitt is a great place to relax and enjoy time with friends and family. The fenced in area was a plus for our small dog. The house was very clean and well appointed with kitchen essentials. We enjoyed visiting the nearby wineries and seeing the fall foliage. We highly recommend staying at Whitetail Sumitt you won't be disappointed.
Family and I fully enjoyed our stay at Whitetail Summit over the July 4th holiday. The chalet has a earthy beauty, designed to blend in with and expose the natural splendor that surrounds it. A quiet, peaceful backdrop to a lovely home equipped with everything for family entertainment. Explorations outside were equally fun with pretty trail hikes and a tasty winery visit. We hope to come back.
Booked a one week stay around my birthday and had the most wonderful time at this house! Everything was exactly as advertised, and the views were magnificent from just about every window. Spent lots of time stargazing from the porch and hot tub and walking my dog around this lovely neighborhood. These incredible hosts have thought of everything you could possibly need, so much so that we cancelled many of our plans just to enjoy this property. Cannot wait to come back soon!!
We rented the property for 2 nights for our daughters graduation from Shenandoah University. The location is definitely private and the house is beautiful. We had an issue with the cable and the owners were extremely helpful and walked us through some troubleshooting. We had a great stay.
The house is lovely and very clean in the inside. Me and a group of friends did a couples retreat and it was perfect for that. The only issue was the outside of the property was not prepared, so we could not enjoy the outside of the property. The outside furniture needed some cleaning and the Jacuzzi was not cleaned, it had green stuff in the water. Your surrounded by lots of nice winerys which was a plus. But overall the house was nice, beds were comfortable and they keep it clean.
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this property! The home and the property itself were stunning—perfect for a relaxing getaway with my wife and our pup. It was also decorated for the holidays! Everything was thoughtfully designed for ease of use, with clear labels and a well-organized house manual that made settling in effortless.
The fenced-in yard was perfect for our dog to safely enjoy, and the quiet neighborhood added to the peaceful ambiance. The home was spotless and incredibly comfortable; from the cozy couch to the plush bedding, every detail was spot-on.
We truly felt at home and look forward to returning for another relaxing escape. Highly recommend this gem!
My friends and I chose this location as a mid-point between leaf-peeping in the Shenandoah National Park and visiting wineries, breweries and the quaint towns of western Loudoun County. The accommodations were clean, spacious and comfortable. We loved lounging on the living room recliners! The house was in a beautiful location with amenities, such as a fully equipped kitchen, toiletries, labeled cabinets and drawers. Jenny was quick to respond to my questions and was the perfect host. We would definitely consider returning to this rental property for a future girls getaway!
We had a great stay at Whitetail Summit. A beautiful property just as described, maybe better than described. Close to Front Royal and just 20-30 minutes from Skyline Drive where we saw the beautiful autumn leaves. The house was very spacious and comfortable and the bedrooms were all very luxurious with nice linens. We had two small dogs and it was great that there was a small fenced in area to let out the dogs. Our dog loved the big dog bed in the lower level where we slept. Bonus was a huge tv downstairs with a great sofa and a nice bedroom with a king bed. We played ping pong and got to really relax! Extra thanks for the bottle of wine in the fridge from a local winery! There is a steep driveway to the house so just be aware of that, we managed fine in our SUV. The host Jenny was very responsive to our few questions and all in all, I highly recommend this house for a getaway. On the way back to DC, we took Route 50 and went through Middleburg so it was nice to stay off the highway and meander back to town!
This clean and lovely mountain home was a terrific getaway. We highly recommend it for families -- having the basement rec area was wonderful for traveling with teenagers!

Everything I was looking for in a peaceful retreat from the city! Nothing better than Shenandoah living. The house was very well furnished, quiet, clean, spacious, and the bed provided one of my best sleeps in years!! Perfectly situated between Front Royal and Winchester. Both providing great food and shopping options. And throw a dart to find a winery or brewery; dozens in the area!
We had an fabulous stay in this beautiful home. Location was great ,couch super comfortable Large flat screen TVs and the hot tub was just another added bonus!
