Fuerte de Isla Verde

I'm over 80 and found the ordering of our stay difficult. On arrival I was told that the booking was not for the night but the following night so had to make another booking. I was told that Crisol Monasterio de San Miguel could not transfer the booking so I paid twice. I found your ordering system difficult to navigate and would be very grateful if you could refund me the booking that I could not use. I look forward to hearing from you. Kind regards Ian Hazeel.

This was not the hotel we saw in pictures. We were very disappointed. The furniture was in poor shape, the linens and towels were older. We were unable to adjust the temperature in either of our rooms(up or down), Parking is available, for an undisclosed fee, but the local parking garage was less expensive and easier to access. The beautiful pool in the pictures is actually in the Spa pool for a fee. The biggest issue was the smell of the rooms. It was as if they had been smoked in. We requested to cancel our reservation for a refund so we could rebook elsewhere but the hotel refused to refund the prepayment. So we were forced to stay and endure the less than expected accommodations. Hotels.com was responsive, but left the entire decision up to the hotel and was not helpful. It is an okay place to stay for 1 night but not for an entire week.
